I actually logged in a couple of games yesterday just because I hadnt played in such a long time. Over 550,000 users were online.
Story and graphics help draw you into that interactivity. A good story or a well presented story helps immerse you during gameplay, there-by propelling the experience.
In the interest for Sony, something has to be done about that insane lead the 360 has over the PS3 in America. Whether its Agent and GT5 or if its the motion controller something must be done to change tides. I will also say that if the motion controller is delayed to the fall then its over. The only mechanics that I dont like in multiplayer are the grenade launchers and Akimbo. Evrything else is amazingly awesome.
Now, if they just fix all matchmaking problems/lag/glitches!
Ya Action and Action Adventure are my favorite genres. RPGs and Shooters are awesome too, but I think that the Action genre just has its own charm with the combat that I cant get from any other genre.
I cant wait for God of War 3. The only action game franchise with an awesome story imo, gotta pre-order soon!

OT: Of course Halo will sell more. On another note the Gameinformer story on Reach is supposed to have a lot of details on the game and should give us an idea of where the game is heading. Also, the GOWIII embargo thats supposed to be amazing is being lifted January 18th, so theres that.

I wonder what Sony Bend is working on. They've consistently been making awesome games and I hope Sony will have them work on PS3 now, they're totally ready to blow us away.
I agree with you. Although the possibility does exist of Rockstar Games handing the development of GTA5 to another developer with some word in from Rockstar North, but I doubt that. Rockstar North is working on Agent and they will then wrk on the next GTA.
Either way, I just want something from them this year.
Its almost 6 million on PS3 alone, and over 8 million on 360. They need to keep all these people happy, you know?
The marketing for this game is crazy, I think Ive seen something new every week. Still, this game warrants it all.

Why did the PS3 go up?
I applaud Sony for their 2010 lineup. They are launching a lot of new IPs next year in addition to some long awaited sequels. Notable games for Sony next year are GT5, GOWIII, Modnation Racers, and Heavy Rain.
The thing is with Sony, they havent talked about what comes after the first half of 2010, the big holiday games I mean. But we do know what is coming from MS which is why I feel there is more excitement around the 360 right now. Their big 2 games are Fable 3 and Halo Reach....
Forget Natal the games alone support that.
Halo Reach, Alan Wake, Mass Effect 2, and hopefully (Ubisoft Montreal has disappointed too many times this gen, so Im wary) Splinter Cell will all be AAA. Crackdown 2 and Fable 3 will also be big games and will deliver to their respective audiences. Not to mention all the XBLA games MS will announce at E3.
All that software AND brand new innovative hardware no doubt make 2010 the biggest year ever for the Xbox brand.

Im not trying to question the validity of your comment, but how do we know that the PS3 is at 33 million? Did Sony say something at their conference regarding the amount of consoles sold? It could be more or less for all I know...
