If there is one thing we can all agree on though its that GTA IV has mind-blowing attention to detail that no other game has, except for MAYBE Uncharted 2. Not even Nintendo can touch Rockstar when it comes to attention to detail.
However, I do agree that over the top missions were lacking and the fun factor was inconsistent, but Rockstar North has created the most realistic city and game of all time, its definitely gonna be very interesting to see where the franchise is heading next. ...
I agree with JOY that L4D2 should be on the list. Doesnt matter if anyone thinks its L4D 1.5, its still fun as hell to play. It should replace Halo Wars.
Also GTA DLC is ace, Rockstar is awesome.

Yeah, I dont believe this at all. Reasons:
-the trouble of having to find another publisher
-Cutting off Sony would loosen their relationship
-they already have an engine in place
-Insomniac said they're going to stay exclusive this generation
I dont think GOW will move too many systems, people who played the past PS2 games will buy a PS3 for it but Im not expecting anything big.
GT5 will be huge, though. Another game that I suspect will move systems is Agent. The 360 GTA crowd will want to eat that game up, and if Sony and Take 2 treat it like GTA, it'll definitely be something nig.
I cant believe this. Playstation owners have traditionally loved action games like GOW and DMC (see Dante's Inferno selling better on PS3) but if Bayonetta sells better on PS3 Ill cry. Seriously this is one time where we SHOULDNT buy the damn game. Its telling Sega they can do a sh!tty port of what seems to be an awesome game 3 YEARS AFTER THE LAUNCH OF THE DAMN SYSTEM!
Good for Mass Effect 2 and GOW3 though. Does GOW3 even have a release date? If not lol @ that, seems like a lot...
I agree with Episode 1 not being so amazing.
Good to see at least one person not hating on IW. MW2 is my favorite multiplayer game, like maybe ever.

Uncharted 2 shows that Naughty Dog has "leveled up" They're contending with the big boys now, I mean the masterful development studios (Bioware, Rockstar etc..). But they're not quite as high, because they need to have more of those masterful games like Uncharted 2 under their belt.
Rockstar Games? If anything they should be number 1!

This was actually a great list saaking, so many good games.
If I had to choose 5, they'd be (in no particular order):
Last Guardian, GOWIII, Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2, and Super Mario Galaxy 2.
Also, although we dont know anything about it, Im so darned excited about Agent. The prospect of a brand new Rockstar North game, and to have it exclusive to a console, has me so excited! They are definitely the kings of open-world.
People have to understand though, that the "big budget" of games this generation is also largely due to adapting to the new consoles and the development of the engine. After a first game, the budget for game development itself goes down significantly.
No matter how huge of an improvement Assassin's Creed 2 is over AC1, and Uncharted 2 over Drake's Fortune, there is no way they cost more than the original games, and more money thus is available for marketing. Killzone 3 ...
PS3 owners love CoD. Who can blame them its a bad@ss series that never gets old IMO.
MW2 is personally my favorite multiplayer game this generation.
The thing is they need a game that proves how awesome the motion controller is and that it works, in other words they need their own version of Wii Sports. Keep it at a low price with a lot of marketing and I have no doubt they'll be in a very good shape considering they are launching the controller before MS is.
Also, the Wii sucks. Just sayin'
Erm, the original team that made Bioshock is making this game rest assured it would be anything even close to generic and we can expect an amazing story (just like Bioshock).
F!ck Activision. The last game I bought from them was MW2. Ill wait for Agent and GTA5 for a better game than this (sorry United Front, you chose the wrong publisher).
I was surprised by this. I know many people dont take the VGAs seriously, but I honestly thought Uncharted 2 would clean up the awards because its so damn good.
Summer? Damn thats a huge game for Summer.
As long as the games sell enough to warrant sequels, I dont care...
