This is the system seller for me. This and Titanfall. I am conflicted I may wait til closer to Titanfall release to buy the XO.

I'd sure hope so, Standby mode is no different then sleep mode on your PC. I wonder how long boot up time would be from completely powered off. I'd imagine something like 15-30 seconds?
A) The OS is on flash memory (i.e SSD)
B) it has to load 3 OS's
Give our take I'd say somewhere in the 20 secondish range.
I love TLOU multiplayer. It's different then what you're use to. Crafting items, being sneaky, the idea that you NEED team work and communication. I love it. But I wouldn't call it the BEST ever conceived" maybe "Some of the best ideas in MP"
It was a nice breather from FPS and it was nice to not see everyone rushing in and going rambo.
I was torn between that one and the hybrid drive. I have no idea of it'll benefit more for loading on the PS4. From videos I've seen online it benefits greatly on PS3

All we can do is take peoples word for it and Jack Frag among others (who make a living on Youtube on XBOX 360) have admitted that the PS4 version looks better.

This isn't entirely true. The idea that a developer is making a game for PS3,360,XO,PS4,PC is a burden a really big one. They have to make the assets in the game work for all platforms, they have to focus on making it optimized for all platforms, they don't have the time to really tweak the engine 100% over time it will be next gen entirely but thats once they drop support for current gen platforms .

DLC will work the same way. If your linked to a separate ps3 all you need to do is login and install the games and dlc on the second console your friend or family member will have access to the dlc as well.
It will work the same way as ps3 for a second console on PS4.
Pawn I'd love to agree with your about next gen but the truth is aside from in house optimization the systems are basically PCs. Current gen tech was more unfamiliar to devs and they had to learn the processors. Especially the Cell. I feel like next gen won't see the gap in graphical differences as current gen did.
That's doesn't mean devs won't utilize the tech better in the future to make games look and run better. Just think it won't be as extreme ...
I've played this on PC and it's got a good model for FTP and I didn't feel like it was ever pay to win. I know they haven't confirmed the FPS but I'd rather the settings be lowered a bit to get a solid 60fps. So here's hoping it is cause this game is gonna be good. Also will help keep you busy for a few months!

I've played the PS3 and Wii U version of the game. Wii U has better water then PS3 and similar textures.
It is not comparable to the PS4 verions in the slightest if you look at ^...

Please go look up what a Hybrid server actually is . It is in fact a dedicated server. In the same way that on XO you will still have 10 yr olds screaming in your ear.

Tis a double edge sword for Xbots..really is. I find myself reasonable on both sides..people can read my past comments to see that for themselves.
Actually PFFT. ITs pretty much exactly what he said. Even admitting they had the XO hardware for a while. It doesn't matter though because people should get what they want, and play where they'll play.
It's just all getting old at this point. At first it was interesting, now that we know exactly whats going on. People just need to accept it, let it go and move on.
The only thing that bugs me...is that I have to pay more for a console that is less...
