highly recommend NOT watching any playthroughs. This game is supposed to be a verypersonal experience. Every user internalizes what they felt while playing, and that is what makes Journey so special. It is not the same game when you simply watch someone else do everything.

This has been the biggest farce in recent memory.

This guy "Paul Gale" is taking you all for a ride and he's loving every moment of it.

You should be facepalming your brains out just at the sight of the phrase "Sony Smash Bros" - he's insulting your desire for a game comparable to SSB.

Zipper was never that good anyway. No one was ever counting on them to deliver AAA. Their best game was SOCOM II and that was like ten years ago.

Sony's just trimming the fat. It's a good thing. More resources for better studios like Media Molecule or the recently-acquired Sucker Punch.

What disappoints me so supremely about this "review" is how Tom, despite being an erudite Harvard graduate and a chap whom undoubtedly must be full of life experience, is unable to comprehend that games, like every other expressive medium, might be more than just a sum of their part.

Such a lapse in judgment is, when given the benefit of the doubt, actually, implausible.

Totally agree on the stress that this game causes. They should've taken a hint when they made the Rewind mechanic so essential. It's ridiculously difficult to have fun exploring the environments if you NEVER KNOW when an gaping abyss might be past the next ridge, waiting to suck you in, force you to rewind, and sacrifice time, combos, points, or all of the above.

It gets exasperating really fast.
