I actually never got around to playing any of the series very much. Just played the first one for a very short little while. I hope the game does well.
It has very little chance to be ok, even less to be good. I wouldnt even use the term amazing and this type of game in the same sentence. Its almost certainly going to be garbage shovelware.

Companies do this stuff all the time just to stop other people from doing it and spreading stuff. Not saying thats what it is but something that is far from rare.
I dont support the piracy part of this but in all honesty i would love to see a really good media player added to the PS3 like XBMC. PS3 media server is great but could be so much better.

Ok you need to support the game by charging for online passes, that makes sense until you realize that the cost of the servers in wrapped up into the inital cost of the game.
What difference does it make to run a server if one person plays 100 hours on it or 2 people play on it for 50 hours each? It doesnt. The defence he is using is flawed. Online passes are not evil but they certainly are not what the publishers are pretending they are.
why dont we wait and see what the game looks like before judging it.
