Why would you laugh at all? It probably will have more ram. The iphone has 512 megs and the next one will likely have a gig. If the psp2 didnt have more ram than a 5 year old system then i would be wondering what they were thinking at Sony.

It voids your warranty though and any other services that come along with your purchase as well, dont forget that. Same thing with modding a console, you should be denied access to their online service (As its theirs not ours) and you shouldnt have access to warranty services.
Its not illegal in Canada, hardware and software modding is perfectly legal. It is legal to make back ups for personal use. It is also legal to bypass security steps in software, but again thats supposed to be for only personal use.
I know most modding leads to piracy im just saying that its not illegal everywhere and it shouldnt be.
Dont need to mobile devices and that costs too much in games and system.
