Ahh poor yourcall, just face it, the 360 is loud for the most part. The launch unit i had was a leafblower but the falcon i got to replace it was much better until the disc drive was really busy then it was farily loud again.
That being said my one ps3 has a much louder disc drive than my other one and my wii has the loudest disc drive of all so it may be more unit specific.
No many people with 3rd harddrives were banned (it required a mod to do and thus MS banned them), you need to do a mod to get them to work and they banned people for it, so prehaps it is YOU who needs to get their facts straight. Im not pissed that they banned them, cause a mod is a mod and EULA says you cant do that, im ok with that (even though its LEGAL in my country), what pisses me off is that they banned people for it and then they turn around and say that its ok now. This game has always kinda interested me, might grab it on steam as its on sale
Im sure it wasnt their prime objective but im certain it was something they considered and hoped for. they banned people right before xmas for having modded machines (which i concede the vast majority was for piracy but not all) which would allow you to use a 3rd party drive right before xmas, and then 3 months after xmas they allow you to use 3rd party drives all of a sudden... that seems on the level to you?
This is retarded, first they ban peoples consoles for having 3rd party HDDs and now they are letting us use USB drives? Obviously the ban was done before xmas to push sales of hardware and nothing else. This is just rediculious that everyone isnt stomping mad!

I should not have said that the ban was only to move units as its primary goal was to get rid of pirates, moving units was a second consideration. My bad.
Doesnt make any sense to do this at all, its not going to happen. Also i think some of you are assuming sony will put trophies into third party games and that makes no sense either...

Well no, not really. They are there to make money, thats what the company was founded for.
If a game isnt recouping costs with sales then why should they make another? I do realize that the remake sold a million on the DS and didnt cost nearly that much and obvisouly made good coin but why would they bother making another game which will cost millions and maybe succeed or maybe fail or they can continue getting MS to put money out to make 360 games where they dont need to p...
Why no mass effect and no Bioshock (although it was mentioned in the system shock part, i think it deserves its own personally).
Also i think they should make a trilogy from Borderlands lol, great games!
Fair enough, personally i agree as well. If you only include the SNES remakes (Chronon Trigger ftw!) and what not the ds and psp have done rather well.
But they dont suck, Lost odyssey and several other RPG's have been fantastic. Not all are great for sure but thats true of any generation.

I kinda doubt it will make it but i suppose it could. I guess if MS has enough marketing it will sell well. I just dont see it doing as well as Halo 3 did, i expect ODST type of numbers (which is still fantastic).
Either way what difference does it make if it sells 3 million or 10 million? THere will still be lots of people to play with.
