I think its a great idea in theory, but in application i dont know as i see it getting abused for actual DEMO's and not PDLC as he puts it.
Its similar to episodic content really, they just need to ensure that the game actually is worth full price i suppose. Im willing to be money we see more 104kb down loads for these thigns though which is a travisty.

Well you are welcome to say that the DS had better games but i personally perferred the PSP ones but thats just personal opinion so no issue there. As for the power aspect i just think it will allow for some really good games is all. It will offer more options (of course i could be totally out to lunch here as the 3d could be epic for sure). For example i really enjoy shooters, a nice and powerful psp2 with dual analogs would be fantastic. Sure the 3ds will likely be awesome, just im pers...
Personally im looking forward to a PSP 2 more than the 3ds. Im sure it will be good but i just think the new PSP will be more powerful and likely solve the issues of the current psp (dual analogs please).
Agreed, its looking to be just that something special that you see just a few times a year. Like demon souls and dead space and games like those.
