I think time is not the issue, it's more being confident in your new IP and not throwing in the towel after it's first outing because of bad sales, u build on it and make it even better in the next outing and the fanbase starts to grow with each outing.

The real problem with Microsoft is if a new IP doesn't do well sales wise no matter if it's good or not they just give up on it. I'll name a couple of good ip's I believe deserve a sequel.

I agree but I wouldn't mind playing with all other consoles with 3rd party games. 1st party games makes sense to be just on one platform but I wouldn't mind at all if Sony let us play 3rd party games online like gta or battlefield with every other console. Would be fun.
PC's have the strongest hardware, however all of that power is never used to it's Max by majority of devs because not all devs are not all equal. Some devs are just flat out better than others and it shows when they take advantage of the hardware regardless of how powerful the hardware is. Devs bring out the best in any hardware.
