David Cage should continue creating these type of games but maybe in the future he can hire someone to add sum cool gameplay mechanics to his games but still have choices when u interact with people in the game. The gameplay might not cater to the masses but millions of people love games where u have many choices and if the story in the game is amazing, that just adds to the whole experience. This will probably my first game of this genre.
Word of mouth is going to get alot of people onboard, twitch and YouTube will do just that. This is why god of war sales are so high because of streamers advertising the game and making more people jump on board then the usual where some people don't even know what games are released.

That's what I mean, they aren't going to try an port it because they don't want to take time to learn the switch hardware. As good as the switch is selling it's still not a large enough base in Activisions mind to even bother. This will change though if Nintendo continues to sell well.
I stopped playing call of duty after modern warfare 2 on the PS3. As stale as this franchise is it's a no brainer why Activision is bold enough to say they won't port it to the switch and for the simple fact that cod games been selling ridiculous numbers without Nintendo consoles for a while. I guess Activision is getting cocky and don't want to learn how to port it to a weaker console.
It's crazy to see the potential this game has to not only be the best Spiderman game to be ever made but Spiderman is already an iconic name in the world. This is the type of games that people will go out and buy a console for. God of war sold 3.1 million in 3 days, I think Spiderman can do this on day one.

I think the rumors of scalebound is a must bring back title for Microsoft. Tons of core Xbox fans were waiting for that game and we're very disappointed when Microsoft cancelled it.
I also think they will be focusing hard on securing a few exclusives by Japanese developers to try an attractive more consumers in Japan.
Microsoft is already doing pretty well in the US but they may need to secure some big 3rd party exclusives to attract Europe as well, ...
Looks like cod wants in on this battle royal multiplayer. I would not be surprised if rockstar puts some kind of battle royal in red dead redemption 2 and many other online multiplayer focused games like battlefield.

I'm with u. Nintendo was awesome when I was young but now as an adult I just tend to enjoy more mature games more than just your kiddy games that just focus on just fun gameplay. I'm more into immersive world's that come alive with great story lines and good gameplay that just puts u into that atmosphere. Hard to create games like that with a small budget.

Ghost of tsushima is more likely to drop this year. Only reason I say that is because it's been playable since the last psx and at that time it's been 3 and a half years sucker punch has been working on the game. The only reason Sony didn't show it off was they wanted to save it for a big event like e3. Even if they don't I'm hoping at least Dreams comes out this year. Dreams is my most anticipated game.
I'm glad Sony loves diversity in their library of games but at the same time I'm glad they didn't aquire David Cage's studio, just my opinion but I rather they aquire someone like insomniac because I love how diverse that studio is even though they love being an independent studio.

I feel the reason Sony is supporting this game is because they know this game has the potential to be a monster franchise. All the different creative things u can do in this game surpasses every other user creativity game out there. I think it's going to be a huge success.
