Cod marketing?? I've hardly ever seen any, COD is one of those franchises that sells itself if anyone does need tons of advertising its gonna be BF3. But I'm already sold on BF3 ive seen the images seen the engine and its a day 1 purchase. Activision can shove COD where the sun don't shine in my opinion along with their 1200msp map packs!
Have you guys seen on the 360 marketplace the deals on BF2 maps? You don't see blackops packs being on offer...

is who are these so-called people that see 'value' in 1200msp map packs...I reckon its the people at Activision and Treyarc only.
This gen I think its safe to say all 3 consoles have shown great potential via sales and also this gen more gamers tend to have more than one console anyways. I own both the 360 and PS3 but game only on the 360 as thats my choice, I own the PS3 just for its media capabilities.
Microsoft has done amazing this gen, last gen they were in solid last place and now they are second right behind Nintendo. Also Microsoft has improved their Live service greatly with their twice yearly updates that are worthy of praise along with the new Xbox 360 S with added features and improvements.
The exclusive game line up may not be their strong point but Microsoft need to just do better on that now and all is set.
The hypocrites are the Sony zombies, I could pull up tons of articles relating to negative Sony PS3 news where all the Sony zombies have made it a positive.
Then I could bring up all the great stuff Microsoft have done with the 360 and Sony zombies making it a negative.

I might have to sell my newly purchased PS3 slim if this continues, I don't want anything to do with a company that can get hacked soo easily.

A 360 and PS3, for me I personally favour the 360 due to the Xbox Live service, content, controller etc etc. As for the PS3 it's also worth having because of the media abilities such as blu-ray, putting in a usb stick and being able to copy things to and from the PS3 like music and videos etc. Also for streaming the PS3 is superb and even connecting up things like a digital camera and being able to see all the files listed neatly.
