Well I read the article carefully and it does not say coming to new platforms the title is all wrong.
Bioware state that they have new games in the works including new platforms. Now reading it that way clearly doesnt mean new platforms are on the way aka consoles.

Kinect has the potential if it wasnt for the fact Microsoft removed a very important chip...Also I get the feel its more of a testing ground for something newer they have planned in the future once they announce the next Xbox which I feel could very well be at next E3.
A new Kinect, smaller, thinner, more responsive and with the added chip.
Now I own a 360 and PS3 but prefer the 360 for gaming HOWEVER, as per usual I am willing to bet Microsot not unveiling any new exclusives but probably a lot of Kinect stuff which I am not interested in at all. I get the feeling Microsoft is giving the full shaft to the more serious gamer and caring more for the ones that simply love Kinect.
Expect the usual Gears of war 3 news and Halo stuff...Oh and lets not forget Peter M probably mouthing off about more Kinect stuff and yeah.
ridiculous, the Xbox 360 is more than capable, as PC games continue to use DVD's as does the 360 and there are plenty of games out there that have proved blu-ray is not need. Just because 1st party devs who make PS3 exlusives use up nearly 50gb do you really think they use 50gb worth of data solely for the game? No its padding mainly.
If a game truely used up 50gb worth of space trust me the hardware would not be capable of delivering the level of detail developers would have use...
Devs claiming to push the consoles to their limits, the only limits they will be pushing is their current development tools not the consoles themselves. As previous gens have shown us and even this gen devs always claim to push the consoles to their limits. Then how comes a few months or a year later we see even better looking games? That is because their development tools at the time did not allow them to do what they can now.

Unless they can drastically improve the response time as I used to have Kinect and by the time you told it open the disc tray you could have gotten up done it in less than half of the time.

PGR4 you mean the PGR4 that was released back in October 2007??? Clicking on the link only provides images, nothing new with info or anything.
They already kinda rebranded the logo with the update and also the packaging was rebranded at the top part of the cover.
But other than that Xbox has become a very well known brand it would be a bit foolish in my opinion to rebrand that.
Perhaps its ideas for the next Xbox it most certainly won't be Xbox 720 again the ignorant minded came up with that by simply doubling 360 and I am sure not many know why it was called 360 in the first place.

What I want to know is what the changes are exactly, do the new discs hold more data?? Whats the specs etc seriously it seems the Americans that have the update are being absolutly thick in their approach in giving out precise details.

Think about what you said, for it to work should just be a graphical upgrade? Then you cannot agree with what I said, how many folks that buy the Wii say the much older gamers or the young kids for whom parents purchase it for they might not know.
