true, outside NA/UK XB never have a big impact ever since their first gen..
actually it's still kinda strange seeing in the internet XB and PS compete neck-to-neck, because in my environment there's almost no mention of XB unless you're in a gaming circle.
one E3 won't "punish" them even if it goes horribly, it's just an exhibition, it's not like every games not announced at E3 will suddenly get cancelled..
Stupid article, not every studios have the fund to develop for multiple consoles.
And studios that have niche fanbase will only lose money developing for other platform, the cost will be bigger than the profit.
And it'll be strange for first-party studios to not being exclusive, that's the exact reason why a console company made them a first-party.
It has nothing to do with PS division, if anything PS division contributes to reduce the losses.
Also MS's huge profit came from computer software not XB division, why do you think MS's shareholder wants to spin off XB division?
Not surprising, IGN is full of toxic XB fanboys that makes trolling here tame in comparison. Maybe they should add peer review in comments just like here instead of only moderators.

I love my Forza and currently waiting FH 2 release to buy XB1, but not like this man, not like this.
I doubt Sunset Overdrive will come to PC, but maybe Quantum Break will, seeing Alan Wake's history.

I think that's one of the reason why Arkham Knight and The Witcher 3 got delayed. Certainly the sales will suffer compared to launching it without competition, especially single-player games where a group of friends can just buy different games each and lend it to one another.

Both are just okay, no one wins IMO.
MS got too many CGI and meh new exclusives, Sony surprised me with LBP and UC but got me sleepy with that service crap.
