Really? I'm 20 hours in, I've never played FF7 and I know next to nothing about the story except the certain death of someone. I LOVE it. The great moments are happening all the time and the characters and narrative is very well done. I've never felt that any of it was padding, and the combat gameplay is the best it's been in any FF game I've played.
The side quests are not all that but those are only a tiny part of the game.
That’s in no way how I feel about it. Though I’ve not played the original, this game is awesome and focuses a lot on the characters, dialogue and narrative. In no way do I get the feeling that any of it is filler and that this is easy money for Square. It’s a full blown game with gigantic production value and a huge focus on details.
I didn’t like the sound of them making it episodic before but if every game is this fleshed out, we’re in for three amazing games the coming years.
The combat, dialogue and narration is top level! I didn’t expect this game to be this good at all. (15 hours in)
10 hours in and I completely love it! My only fair is that the game is going to end too soon.

Might be a unpopular opinion, but RE has been dead imo after RE 4. RE 7 was the revival of the franchise followed up by the two remakes. I think FPS fits the franchise well and werewolves could be pretty scary if done right. Can’t wait to play RE 8 in VR if it turns out as good as RE 7 or better.
I’d enjoy this event way more of ir was smaller. For example that there was less easter recepies and a set amount of eggs that you could collect. Once you’ve collected the eggs there wouldn’t be any more eggs to collect. If I’m just gonna get eggs every time i fish or chop a tree for over 10 days then that’s gonna make me quit Animal Crossing for a while.
Agreed. Loved the first ones to death, but it has totally lost me. I really miss the simpler times from KH1 and 2.

The funny thing is that parents and single adults buy them for themselves as well. I know 9 people, from work and friends, who bought switch the last week and they’re between 26 - 48 years old. It’s insanse. The corona is definitely making console sales go up rapidly.

It’s not hate, it’s valid criticism. In the same way you could only have one save file in pokemon, them releasing two games with exclusive content in each, animal crossing only having one save and one island - it’s all shady practices that makes people buy more games and consoles.
I love Nintendo and their games but they’ve got shitty practices, no doubt about that. Sony has got the best practices atm imo.

But in defence of Nintendo - their games are polished on another level and they make unique AAA games that you can’t find on any of the other platforms. Which is why I always get both Playstation and Nintendo every generation.
Kinda sucks that it’s not even fully BC with PS4:

The flu kills 8% of the infected in Italy and the hospitals have filled their capacities in several countries meaning that people with all kind of severe injuries and illnesses won’t be able to get treatment. There’s also no cure. It could be worse, but this is serious stuff.

Meaning that hospitals will reach their capacity And have to be selective of who to treat. This effects everyone with serious illnesses and injuries and causes people who could be saved left to die instead like Italy, Chinah, Spain and South Korea.

Because it’s portable, a home console and it got great games representing almost all their big icons except Pikmin and Star Fox. The console also caters to all age groups both casual and hardcore – except the people who care about specs.
