Dude, what's up with all these people saying Call of Duty 4 and Gears of War are graphically superior to Killzone? I know it's off topic, but it's kinda bugging me. I mean, are they really that...fanatical?? o_o'
Wow, the PS3 is a monster. I don't remember the Ratchet and Clank games having these kind of production values; they were great, but this is just off the charts. Ratchet looks furry!! I love how glossy his eyes are too. Aww, so cute. ^_^
but not at this quality. Lair is looking awesome! Did you see how much was going on at once? Air-combat simulation, ground combat-simulation, lighting simulation, physics galore. Remember when people said PS3 wasn't designed for games? =P
are somehow all "Sony fanboys" for praising Guerrilla for their remarkable achievement. It's sad that you have to act in such an angry manner, simply out of jealousy for what developers are pulling off on a rival platform.
Plague the 360's name? Microsoft already did that; no need to blame everyone who didn't build the console. And damn Candystop, you need to calm down girl. Get you some maxipads and some bon-bons; you'll be an unbiased gamer in no time ^_~
Call of Duty 4 is also on Playstation 3, and nearly every gaming site/magazine has stated that the new Killzone demo exceeds the CG trailer from 2005. In fact, it's the best looking game ever seen, and the gameplay is apparently really awesome. You should seriously look into broadening your gaming horizons; limiting yourself to just one platform just means you're missing out on some awesome stuff.
Lost Odyssey doesn't come out till next year. Killzone 2 has convinced a lot of people that Sony's hardware really is 2~3 times more powerful than the 360 (their specs, not mine). Besides, there's like 15 great exclusives coming out on the PS3 this year, that we know of anyway. Great selection of 3rd party games too.
Sony Computer Entertainment doesn't manufacture batteries; you must be thinking of another division within Sony corportation. Plus, what's with all the hatred against Playstation 2? PS2s have a lifetime warranty (for defective lasers), and mine has served me well for the past 4 years. Maybe you should calm down a bit.
Sony believed that the tech they invented was their property, and not Immersion's. They lost the case, tried appeals, didn't work out. But now everything's cool and they get to use next-gen force feedback for the Sixaxis. That's much better behavior than what Microsoft is doing, i.e. suing Immersion after settling and buying 15% of the company.
"3 cores from Xbox will outperform 8 cores from PS3!"
"PS3 is more expensive on the 1st step!" Yeah, and luckily it's the only step. Good luck with your HD-DVD, Wi-fi, Hard Drive, and HDMI upgrades.
You stated "Oh, I thought sony didn't charge for its content?", which is completely untrue since Sony never claimed to give out all its content for free. The service is free. Read the statement again.
There's a difference. I'm surprised how defensive and immature you're acting though. Good job on making 360 fans look bad. =/
didn't they force Epic to charge for Gears of War online content when Epic wanted to give it out for free?
is missing an internet browser and some sweet stuff like remote connectivity, but it does have more content. PSN though is just as robust (Warhawk has 32 players, Resistance has 40), and has identical features like video chat.
I'm pretty new here, but I get the sense that Bloodmask is anti-PS3. Last time I checked, developers had the choice of either running their own servers or using Sony's internal network. If Sony threw 3rd parties out into the cold, like he claims, devs wo...
It looks alright.
what truly matters. The Connect service obviously can't compete against iTunes, so I think it's better to let that service go instead of spending millions trying to salvage it. Stringer talked about this for a while, and he's boosting support for markets where Sony is either dominant or near-dominant, while eliminating support in areas where the company doesn't need to be.
(don't say it out loud) =P
I'm really looking forward to what Phil's group is putting together for E3, and what really made E3 05's press conference so captivating. I'm guessing they'll be showing around a dozen 1st-party titles that no one's heard of or seen yet, as well as another 10~15 that have been hidden for the past year.
I heard that Nintendo won't be showing up though. Is this true? Or did I get confused with TGS?
I'd love to get a PS3, but it's still a lot of money and my PS2 is doing just fine. I still haven't beaten FFXII! (sigh)
Ahahaha!
"i mean thats more per episode than it costs to create a whole new game". Yeah, that's the point. It's a ridiculous amount of money, and really gives a lot of insight into how much exclusivity rights are costing companies like Microsoft and Sony for entire games. BTW, i think you should get the term 'fanboy' out of your system. Show some respect for your fellow gamers. =]
Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet Future, Spore, and Lair. Oh! And LBP and Mario Galaxxxy. =]
