What's your problem.
it's pretty easy to tell which people are suspiciously pro-Microsoft. I don't know ANYONE who owns a Zune, let alone has heard of it.
I still say iPod and Creative are the best. Microsoft just doesn't know how to build competitive products; it's a brand new concept for them. Hopefully they'll learn to, but it'll take a long time. I suspect upper management is to blame, 'cause the basic design of the Zune is good. The additional features and the name though just plain suck.
Like how awesome is the story?
bad framerates, low-poly counts, and boring environments aren't exactly things that can be 'patched'. You act like Mass Effect is free from the same things that other titles get a lot of flack for.

Some people were asking about the Project Gotham and Kameo CPU requirements that I commented on earlier. Sorry, I got it wrong. They're actually using 5 out of 6 hardware threads, not all 6. It's been a while since I looked at it. =/
I was surprised at how many CPU resources are used just for decompression though. Pretty crazy.
*Edit: N4G ...
I don't have a PS3, but it looks pretty popular around here.
but maybe they're just saving it for PS4? I'm glad they brought back rumble though.
THIS pushed the PS3 to the top spot??? I bet they're all proud, telling every newspaper "We almost used 1% of the PS3's power!"
Hate to break this to you, but even Project Gotham 3 and Kameo used all 6 CPU threads on the 360. The approach though, as I'm getting this from Microsoft's information, is that they were sharing all data in the L2 cache. Now they're taking the PS3 approach and dividing all that information between cores.
It's only good for little arcade games, from what I've heard. I think the easy porting between 360 and PC has to do with the fact that both run on Windows. I don't know any kind of PC though that runs its CPU on GPU ram...
It looks like they're actually taking the Cell approach, which I'm taking from Microsoft's recommend "Message-based currency". The SPEs do this by default, I believe.
The 1up Show had a bunch of Mass Effect footage, and the amount of pop-in and texture loading was like watching Halo 2 all over again. Combat looked boring too. One of my complaints of Ratchet and Clank is the huge weapons selection menu that pops up, but this game takes that to a whole new level.
Well EA is lazy...
"Those games look better than what the 360 has...but not on my superbig tv" ? I've seen some funny denial posts, but this one just tops the list! =]
"I wish the games really did look like those screen shots." Those are direct-feed photos, so either you need to get your mindset checked or consider buying a new TV, hehe.
Xbox Live only uses dedicated servers for the basic services, like downloading content or looking at the daily bulletin. Sucks that they don't use dedicated servers for the most important part of an online gameplay service, namely the online gameplay.
I don't know why Microsoft charges $50 a year for a simple P2P service when Sony uses dedicated servers for every aspect of their Free service.
It's definitely worth it. =]
MS spent the last year gloating about how they'd get GTA day and date as the PS3 version. It's still true, but about 4 or 5 months after the Holiday season ends, and MS really needed GTA in order to boost their poor sales.
We can always hope that the trio of Sci-Fi titles will do some good for the platform, but as far as I can tell the Wii and PS3 are going to slaughter Xbox 360 this Fall and Winter.
but the texture loading, weak story, and nonexistent AI kinda killed it for me. At least Multiplayer was awesome.
but Black was definitely my favorite in terms of the number of "Oh Sh%t!" moments. I tried Resistance a little bit, and it was loads of fun.
Looks like PS3's aiming to take the number one spot really soon.
