Since RSX wasn't even finalized until 6 months after the 360 launched. It's also capable of 128bit HDR rendering, while the 360 GPU is stuck at 64-bit.
The 360 soaring in the U.S., and it's even cheaper than that in Europe and Asia. The PS3 has been outselling it despite being $100~200 more expensive. What does that tell you?
"When the 360 hits $279, the PS3 is dead."
-didn't happen-
"why do you think the PS3 installbase so low compared to the xbox 360?"
-14 million versus 20 million isn't that big a difference-
"it took Sony MGS4 for to finally start selling a few thousands more than the xbox 360 (in North America)"
-PS3 outsold the 360 in Janurary, February, April, and THEN June, when MGS4 was released- (in North America)
Do y...
But not quite Forza Motorsport, at least not yet. Should be a good 360 title. I just wish they didn't put so many heavy filters over their In-Game Footage. It feels like they're not ready to show us raw footage yet.
360 games have looked the same for the past year. And PS3 games keep improving exponentially. If there's a memory issue, no one's seen it yet.
So probably all these:

And some of these:

Resistance, Motorstorm, and LBP are all new IPs this generation. Insomniac previously did the Ratchet and Clank series, and Evolution worked on the WRC series.
Bungie may just attempt working on the Wii and PS3 instead. Who would want to deal with all that corporate bullying?
At least they're trying to keep up with Sony. Innovation doesn't matter much since it's all about the experience, so both companies get kudos for pushing for consumer satisfaction. =D
But what's up with Nintendo? They have a horrible online system, and the Wii interface looks like it needs to be streamlined. I wish they would stop putting out a peripheral with every game and just improve the console. =[
But I want in! PM me. =D
I thought every PS3 game since last fall had rumble support. Maybe they had a good reason not to do it?
MGS4 must've been Really good then. o_o' You should rent Uncharted though. That game is so tight!
I guess they just need to adjust the firmware or whatever. I wish they could have an anti-aliasing feature for the PS1/PS2 games.
TVs that only support one or the other fall out of that standard (which was only the early ones) are the TV manufacturer's fault, not Sony's or Microsoft's. But essentially all titles now run at 720p and 1080i (720p is better) so it's not a big deal.
The 360 is really 5 million units ahead. I remember Sony putting out their 13 million sold figures the other day, so 360's at 18 million.
I'm not a math wiz or anything, but it outsold the Wii in Japan for most of November, has been selling 100K each week in Europe, and 100K a week in the U.S.
Add that together, they probably sold a good 1 million PS3s just last month. They probably even outsold the 360 worldwide, which is crazy. Maybe you're just not easily impressed? =/
But yeah, they still got a ways to go. At least they're headed in the right direction.
That actually sounds kind of cool.
unintuitive or restrictive. You shouldn't have to register in order to view the contents of a website, or even download from them.
“Make the most powerful hardware and most spectacular games”, which is what happened. Xbox had a nice GPU, but couldn’t hold a candle to games like MGS3, God of War, Shadow of Collosus, etc.
