It's improved a lot but it's still there and much larger than Move.The movement was slow and Move manages better than that even in fast motion.
The game was quite basic too.Up the complexity and the lag will increase.Kinect works better than many thought it would and I knew people would give it positive word of mouth just for working.It feels new and exciting,but when that wears off you will still have an GAME controller inferior to rivals.
Most people(except idiot fanboys)knew it would sell but the smart ones just realise the hype and who the real fools are.I remember all the 360 fans crowing about sales before,and the truth is a little different,especially if you are capable of the big picture view and some basic maths.
I just went by the official figures.That showed VGcharts had been very wrong since the launch of the 360s and PS3 was still outselling it.Thing is that most of you don't seem to realise is PS3 is more successful(faster selling)than 360.That's the fact of it and most 360 fans just believed the media presented,perceived success.Same as Kinect will sell but ultimately will always be the inferior game controller next to Move,it may just take awhile for the slower ones to catch on.

Nintendo went from 22 millions Cubes total last gen to top this gen and Ps3 is the 3rd fastest selling console(home) ever.This means at current rates it will outsell Ps1 and that would make it 3rd best selling ever too.
Funny that they don't count because the PS3 leads by such a margin there that it almost cancels out the 360 lead in US.Add in EU mainland and you can see why PS3 is still beating 360.

No company has led for 3 generations.The PS3/360 sales are already high for a console,it's only when compared to the 4 biggest monsters PS2,DS,Wii,PS1 they come up short and there's still time.That year lead for 360 was 16 months in EU and PS3 leads there.
It tracks hands as one point of articulation and with the camera resolution you'd need to be close for it to big up fingers,and we all know how well that works.It may track movement like Eyetoy,so wiggling of fingers but it will not recognise fingers.
This is not a game changer and people are idiots if they think this is how we'll play our games in future.

Metro(traditonal 360 fans)tested Kinect(www.metro/tech/game/)an d they bascially said it was not good.
This new tech thing is balls.Kinect is an RGB camera and IR output.The software is the most powerful part of it but without any accelerometers or gyros it has purely visual input and a lot of guessing from biometric software.It can never be as responsive or accurate.In fact it works like wii meets Move but while it covers a wider body it has less information being read.The question is,how useful is full body tracking for games.I'd rather have accuracy/response of Move/Motion plus with fee...
I thought this site was PS3 dominated and yet you get 29 disagrees and 5 agrees(I'll add mine in a sec)for reporting the figures from the actual financials.Idiots.
Those figures do show that PS3 is getting higher attach rate on most games these days.If you look at game sales recently the 360 sells 10 to 20%more and with games like Madden it's even less.I'd like to see a comprehensive list of game sales.

I think Move will easily show itself as the superior game controller.
Kinect is a visual only controller and this means it will never be able to match the accuracy and response of Move.Much of what it does is going to be approximations not fine control.
Most importantly it's the proper tech and gaming sites that have the biggest gap in favour of Move.
Kinect is not higher res(as stated below)and runs slower but it's camera advantage is the fact it has a CMOS sensor which should handle light better than PSEye(and give better picture).CMOS would have been too expensive when PSEye launched.I't also worth noting that PSEye has a 4 way noise cancelling mic array like Kinect too and PS3 has Voice recognition in it's SDK.
It's funny how most proper tech/gaming sites are marking Kinect down especially compared to Move.
The Wii pointer does not work from my sofa(same for IGNs Damon Hatfield).9-10ft.I mean at all.I have to stand and step forward and if you lose contact with the bar it cuts off.It's a lot harder to lose contact with the wide camera PSEye view.
As for pointer speed,I think there about the same to be honest.Time Crysis is fast and furious and I had no lag issues or with Archery on Champions which speed is a large part of the game.Move is more light sensitive than Wii(as is Kinect)due...
I've used my PEEye instead and what has people still playing PS2 got to do with anything?I don't play anything on my PS2.

I think it's more like the balance board than the Wii.Over 20 million sold and probably 2 percent still in use.I know quite a few people with one of those and only my wife still uses it....rarely.She watches Tv,uses it for step and doesn't turn the Wii on!Kinect will become a webcam/mic and get turned off foe menus and not used for games.
