Just read a Motion Sports review on Videogamer and they said they are running out of ways to say the controls don't work in a Kinect game.

Well all I know is that one person at my work ordered one.Waited a week and it's been shipped finally.The day before it shipped another at work ordered one and they are awaiting stock before shipping.
It's sold out again at Play after coming back into stock for one day.Sold out at Shopto and over priced by 10 quid on Amazon(UK).
Problem with MS 2.5 million number in 25 days is that it must be estimated.How can they know right up to the day.They can't.They pick a few stores and get an average and I bet they pick the stores.
There are some great tech demos for Kinect but that is all they are.Eyetoy had loads of tech demos that were cool(I played some never released ones)and it's all well and good but the Predator demo etc are not really going to be useful for games.I'd go as far as to say that Kinect belongs on the PC rather than as a console games controller.
Move also has some very cool tech demos and that's in the same boat.Are those demos any good for games?(fireball/chameleon)
If they do a variable price download system for games and the rumoured twin sticks,it could do bettert than people think.PSP sold 62 million so far but was hurt by piracy and a general lack of software.
I don't think a twin stick HD handheld should be underestimated.

Playstation brand was catering to casuals before the term existed.Sinstar,Buzz,Eyetoy were all aimed and "casuals"and some of us hardcore believe you can do both.In fact I'd say a hardcore gamer is someone who loves games of many types(not all.I hate RTS).They may even include something woolly like Kinect.
I play Dead Nation,Lost Planet2,Bioshock,Singstar,Bord erlands,Sports Champions and Tumble at the moment(so old,some new and some casual too).

Yeah I agree.That way they can continue to question Sonys sales numbers and ignore the fact that MS count shipping most of the time and no one comments.Years of hardware sales for 360 we were told by media was "sold"and all it meant was they'd changed the term for shipped to sold meaning "sold to retailers".That's fine though because it's MS and most of the media play on 360.
It's a bunch of cheap,off the shelf components and low end ones at that.The software is advanced but the hardware has many limitations.You just lack the knowledge to understand it.

Some people still believe that fingers can be tracked on Kinect.Some advanced biometric guessing software can be fine for some apps
,but for precision gaming it will not match it's rivals hardware solutions.

You need to look at your beloved MS for all the same things.Sony is much faster selling than 360,you need to go look at the figures and stop believing PR releases printed verbatim by US press.
Gears just got a 6 month delay,Huxley never emerged,and many call Gt5 unfinished when Fable 3 is a buggy mess worse than the last game.

I thought it was on a Rockstar financial report but it could be fiscal year,soup to April 2012.
You guys seem to forget that actually most years have belonged to Wii,then PS3 then 360.
If you actually look at the figures properly then 360 is by far the slowest selling.
As for games I prefer Sony exclusives to MS with only Mass Effect(coming to PS3 soon),L4D1 and 2(rumoured to be coming to PS3)and Gears(maybe never coming to PS3)games I care about.
I do won all 3 systems and my PS3 gets 95% of my play these days.
Less than 2 month lead for Move over Kinect compared to 16 month 360 lead to PS3.The PS3 has passed 360 in EU despite this.Look at WW sales and it is obvious that PS3 leads EU(except UK).
I love the big 360 fans,they are ignorant morons with little real knowledge(and yes I know some of the PS3 fanboys are mental too but it terms of stupidity 360 ones are the kings).
