Got it last night.Very pleased.
Paid £39.99,saved £4.79 day one(and got Sackboy a week earlier) and got a further £20 of stuff I wouldn't have bought but might enjoy.In 15 months I'll easily get my moneys worth and next up DC Online beta.
I've seen both on show and Killzone 3 is quite a bit better.

You are wrong and probably haven't played KZ.
Fun is subjective and never a measure of quality that's quantifiable.
Gears is good and has polished controls but nothing innovative.Killzone 2 did more online than Gears1 or 2.

You've just written the same bunch of crap every Kinect fans write and most of it shows a lack of understanding of control and it's requirements.You also ignore human leanings such as feedback and our tactile nature in favour of the short lived thrill of the new.So many of you are buying the hype without truely questioning the gaming usefulness of the tech.
How you getting on with that Ps2 with less accurate Move?By your rationale we shouldn't have bothered buying 360 or PS3 and stuck with PS2.we buy next gen consoles every cycle,why is next gen motion(with a next gen console that could do so much more)not applicable?

There are better ways to do most practical things I've seen from Kinect and some of the tech demos,while fun,are just tech demos.

You have to move like a slow loris for Kinect to work by the look of it.
I say Kinect belongs on the PC with these fun little demos that aren't actually that practical for anything.
For gaming it's not as good as rivals.
I think the graphics look better,BUT not that big a deal.I preferred the look/feel of the 1st game over the 2nd.
8 player is out which is a shame but 2 player split screen or online story co op is in and upgradable weapons too.I liked the 8 player but hated rest of R2.Loved R1,under rated gem,so I hope this is better story instead.
The weapon wheel is back and thank god.The great thing about 1 was the way you could vary tactics by changing weapons.The 2nd game ruined this along with plenty of other things.
Interesting.This plus Japan means PS3 is still outselling 360 WW despite the fact that Kinect will push them ahead.That's with the newness factor.Next year PS3 looks stronger and has more room for price cuts to have an impact.
GT5 was a huge software mover but not hardware(in EU according to the reliable VGcharts?????)except in Japan where it moved over twice as many units.

You've got to bear in mind that it takes a lot less pixels at that screen size to look as good.It comes down to the fx it can handle.If the RAM is true,that will help a lot get some serious stuff on screen.
I personally feel the thing that would make PSP2 a hit would be twin sticks.
Unlikely at the moment.With much faster sales than 360 in should over take it next year,with only the US keeping 360 ahead this year.

Can't wait for Starhawk,I played 110 hours of Warhawk although the last 30 or so were hard on us tank drivers with the changes in balance,jetpaks,machine guns etc and the fact that Warhawk pilots became immune to all attack except other Warhawks.

Idiot.Have you seen the new IP Sony have delivered this gen?You want stale,look to Ninty.A whole new control scheme and the same old games.
2-3 million is not niche.I think you can see the range of PS3 software in that list and those that claim exclusives don't matter can see a the largest percentage of million sellers are Sony published.In fact almost the same percentage as Ninty,and I thought they would be much higher.
I think it's good that the million sellers are spread.Better to 74 million sellers than 50 with 3 or 4 above 10 million.
Proves what many have said about 360s weaker recent exclusive line up compared to the others.Ninty top on Wii 26%,Sony top on PS3 25%,MS 2nd on 360 15%.MS weaker publisher.Also disproves the massive software advantage over PS3.It's been out 12 months US/JP/16 months EU and shows little more than PS3 despite all that time to itself.
The more I read the more I realise the 360s "success" is over stated.
