The very best games have good gameplay,graphics,art design.....and hopefully sell,or we're doomed to play Wii.

That's some big numbers.
No PS3 game will ever technically top a high spec PC game.The PS3 is the most powerful console,I think that's obvious but is still limited by old graphics card(the cell helps compensate but not enough)and very limited RAM.
However,I think art design/direction both KZ3 and UC3 are more appealing than the vanilla Crysis.
I've seen Crysis 2 running on 360 at Eurogamer,along with KZ3 and KZ looked better.Crysis 2 looks good but a bit bland again.
I like both franchises.Always like Gears art BUT I've seen both and KZ3 looks quite a bit better in graphics terms.When me and 3 friends saw Gears 3,there was one reaction(not in a bad way)"It's Gears".
Meaning it looks good,will play well but more of the same.
KZ3 looks like an FPS bar raiser again.For 3rd person,it will be UC3 ad for open world it will be Infamous or maybe LA Noire.
Both games will be good but never cared for Gears online except co ...
My biggest criticism(apart from a final boss I can't defeat,even on normal after 6 attempts.I'm getting too old and slow)of KZ2 is the lack of really good set pieces.Fixed for 3 by the look of it.The AI in 2 was superb and not mentioned often enough for me,but it all seemed a bit one note.Loved the multi player.
This looks good.I'm going to be even poorer in 2011,and god knows where I'm going to find the time for all these games.
I agree.Don't get all this R3 hate.I guess the 2nd one did more damage than I thought.I didn't like single player and consider it to be one of Insomniacs worst games.I liked co op though.
I can understand some negativity around this game,with R2 being a bit turd in single player but so much?
I think in game looks good and a step up from the 2nd.Weapon wheel is back,story co op and loads of enemies.
I don't agree.I think it looks great.You may not like the art but you can't be suggesting it's technically unimpressive.Amazes me still that so many gamers can't separate the 2.I hate Halo art design and even though it's tech does no match the very best in many areas,I accept the game runs well and is as cutting edge as 360 gets.
I can't wait for this.It's like CSI LA Confidential.Tech looks great and I get to use some human perception skills in a game and take my time.I loved Heavy Rain but this could be even better.

Can't please everyone.I want both.The single player of KZ2 was a bit one note but had the best AI I've ever played against(and that includes online bots).This looks more varied.The multi player of 2 was superb,balanced(mostly)and stunning.
I like the art design of KZ but then I like a wide range of games so not everything needs the day glo Halo tones(which I hate the art on).
R2 was bloody awful single player(worst Insomniac single player ever?)but I loved 1 and 3 look...
True,but lighting is one of the most important factors in the appearance of this gens games.The fact is the PS3 version looks noticeably better,and this was a 360 exclusive.It's not like 360 fanboys don't gloat like hell when they get a Bayonetta or something similar.In fact they gloat when they don't even know what the differences are,they just read there were some.
Yawn.Long term Move users will have a better play experience because it's a better game controller.Kinect users may have more choice but like the Wii a lot will be duff and unlike Wii,no Ninty gems.

1st 360 one was rubbish.I know 3 people that played it and none of us bothered past a few levels because it was so poor.

Says it all really.360 fanboys are idiots and PS3 provides most(million sellers) of what you buy on 360 PLUS a huge raft of exclusives made by the largest 1st party dev community.So large in fact that it's bigger than the other 2 combined.

Glad someone else agrees.I've heard Edge mag wax lyrical about Halo AI but not KZ which is the best I've played.Get a couple of mates and load a full game with bots,it's impressive.
Edge even raved about Halo ODST AI(I haven't played)except buddy,but that was forgiven.My mate was playing it and disliking it(he likes Halo and finished 1,2,3)and an enemy tried to melee him through a pillar.
I've never seen that in KZ.
