There is one reason to buy a 360 now,if your friends have them.Other than that,if you haven't bought one yet there is no game exclusive reason,so if no friend issues,PS3 is the logical option.
It's more flexible(media etc),cheaper to run and has a better exclusive library with more games coming out all the time.The only negative for PS3 is higher initial cost.

Control interfaces(non gaming)are about accuracy,speed,efficiency and the ability to use them for a long period of time.
Now MS are doing a great job of selling this but long term it has no place in mouse territory.
Imagine using it for 8 hours.Your arms would fall off.
This has limited uses and replacing a normal PC control os not one of them.
There are certain graphic interfaces that it may be useful but there were more expensive,better versions that MS kille...
360 has better textures and PS3 has less jaggies and more natural colour palette.
360 wins but not by any margin you'd notice.Unless you bought both and ran them side by side.

The thing is Sony make new IP every gen rather than milking the old ones and are still introducing new IP.Ninty are using 20 year old IP and any new IP from MS are usually 3rd party timed ones.

It's an early trailer that gives you setting,likely enemies,weapons and combat type but most importantly it's impressive and everyone is talking about it.It does what a 1st trailer should.
