Kinect is the sale of an idea over actual useful control and the adverts for the games reflect this....by showing no actual gameplay.The reason for this is 2 fold.
1.you look like an idiot.
2.It's shallow and weak in gameplay terms.
Problem is,touch screens are not that good for games.I don't want the future to be puzzle games and point and click only.Everything else is better with sticks and buttons.
Touch screens are over rated in general.
Why are we saying that's impressive.After the first dismal showing most companies would have been out of business with billions of losses.Sony sold over 100 million with their first console and made money.Their second did over 150 million.The 360 is the slowest selling console this gen and you want to praise as some sort of under dog.Please!

I'd rather clean windows for real than play Kinect.There's no lag in real life.
I think sales outside the US must be slow.The 10 million sales that MS are still quoting have not changed much in months.They would not cut the price this early unless they needed to stimulate growth.
Gamespot were again slating the device for how poor it is on their last podcast and although my 6 yr old loved playing it,I thought it was laggy shit.
Crap for me.I have all but Wipeout of the Ps3 offerings,and I don't like that game.

PSN had scheduled work last night from 4.05pm until 3am thursday and I was gutted,We had a whole evening of KZ3 planned.
Now I'm happy.It's down today while I work(not last night) and I played KZ3 online for 4.5 hours with no issues all evening.
Same old games,less cutting edge,weak 3rd party,the least responsive controller,no camera control.The worst games system I've ever owned and that goes back to a rubber keyed 48k Spectrum.
The Wii is weak and anyone suggesting it's better than the 360/PS3 is either a fanboy,6 yrs old or an idiot.
