I think it's called desperation, and trying to keep Xbox viable. Smart for business. Only move really

The report said stale. That line up you listed fits the definition. Same old stuff.

But Physics etc can be done efficiently on GPU these days. Everyone seems to have forgotten how GPGPU will grow in usage and be way faster than any cloud application.

And my money is on it looking really cool..... But being a concept and not a reality.

Author seems to ignore that many VR games will be multiformat, with UE4 having tools for easy porting.
Kinect was a solo format, with low user numbers.
Morpheus using reprojection ( a software solution from Sony to double framerate. This apparently works, according to users. This is also in UE4 middleware).
I used Occulus and didn't get sick.
I'll be buying Morpheus. VR is amazing.
More people that get eyes on with it, more or will sel...

People should stop wishing failures on either. You need 2 competing companies pushing each other for success for consumers. We need both consoles.

It was 16 months in EU and PS3 was faster selling. Ie. It sold more worldwide each year. Why doesn't anyone talking about last gen actually look at the maths?
People will believe what they want to, I guess.

Actually, Bloodborne wouldn't be classed as pure 3rd party, as it was Co - developed with Sony.

Broad EU tastes reflect broad PlayStation software line up. That's why PlayStation is strong, they always cover a wide range of games.

Really not a lot in it. PS4 looks sharper at longer draw distance. Close to middle distance, no discernible changes. No one will be unhappy with either version.

I've just bought a 2tb to put on my launch PS4.

The fact is, they answered their query. It works, technically. That means that one day PlayStation will be Netflix for games. I'm impressed with the Beta. Now imagine a huge library on there, like Steam.

And much more limiting than most of you think. You won't be doing CAD design on this.

Wow, you really bought into the dream. How was Kinect? Did you buy all those games? This is not VR, I'm afraid.

PlayStation tend to put games out all year.

Yet they've destroyed a fair few studios.

Get a DS4 charge station. I have 2 with 4 pads, so I never run out of battery

More promising that VR? Please. Utter nonsense. VR has so many applications and it massively more game or film applicable.
You guys are idiots if AR "is more exciting to you". Try thinking about what you saying.

I enjoyed some of it. I thought presentation was outstanding, story and characters were decent. Guns were interesting and fun, but lacked a little punch on impact.
The QTEs(I don't dislike Quick Time) often used the wrong buttons for the job. Triggers and sticks should be R1/L1 and D pad. They also had quite a few instant fails, which is something they claimed they were avoiding pre release.
Too many hands-off bits and some bits felt dated. I like the 2 button cover...
