Big monsters looked good. Rest looked a gen back. Animation looked 2.
Poor demo, technically.
4 player Co op could be saving grace.
And there is the difference in a nutshell. Hardcore Xbox fan in full view.
As gamers average age has increased, PlayStation has become the format due to production of risky, adult orientated (non just violence etc), most new IP/ varied games. That's what keeps people coming back.
I know that MS/ Ninty will largely do more of the same. If you aren't already invested, you are unlikely to be swayed. Wii was an anomaly, and 360 had a great starting position. People need to accept that lots of games, real ones, love PlayStation. Just look at a...
Q2 Official figures are 1.4 million XB1/ 360 combined and PS4 alone 3 million. Both are shipped and official from the respective companies. So PS4 shipping near 3-1 world wide. Happy now?
Now the last quarter figures are out.
Xbox One and 360 shipped 1.4 million combined .
PS4 alone shipped 3 million. That's the official recent figures, and the ones that matter right now
What? Are you saying they look better than recent ps4 showings for next year? Technically? That's bilge.
On the E3 critics awards Sony got 5. How many did Xbox get? Zero.
That must mean Sony won. Surely if the guys playing/seeing the games say so :-)
Phantom Dust is cancelled
Yep. You're right. There are lots of postives too. Just they don't tend to do well with long term support in gaming, and Nokia news is fresh.
Of course. Kill Nokia, the launch a handheld device to rub their nose in it.
How many acquisitions have MS killed? Plenty of devs have been negatively impacted by them.
I wasn't comparing to VR with that comment, but VR isn't being sold that way. MS showed people "designing using Hololens. Not realistic, and they assembling/ tweaking preset shapes
I reckon the average age of a Xbox owner will show similar metrics with IQ, by comparison with PlayStation.
Ever used CAD? AR will work as a viewer, but won't match a pc/ mouse / keyboard for actual design.
Kinect was bought in, and then sold using old Eyetoy (the first one) tech demos made into games. I know this because I played are release demo PS2 Eyetoy, then played Kinect games based on it. Game play (ie the way you physically moved) was the same. Seriously.
They already stated that improvements are unlikely.
I find it surprising so many Xbox fans like this idea of piling up games at the end of the year.
Did you see Ubi financial results. If the Xbox exclusives sell this year, they heavily weaken 3rd party relations and increase software sales gaps for publishers. If 3rd party sell well on XB1, then exclusives underperform and MS take the hit.
The display is hardly sub par. I forgot the 2nd screen multiplayer, which can be 2D version of Morpheus screen, or asynchronous for upto 4 players with Morpheus
And Sony get time to reply with Paris Games Week, and before the big sales season hits, them TGS.
Europe is done for MS. Some of those games look good, but Xbox fans ( understandably in some ways?) are trying to make every game be a AAA classic. So far they've had hardly any really top notch exclusives. Forza is top drawer but what else. Dead Rising? No.
I loved first Crackdown, but series has never been huge sales hit. Some of you guys are treating these game...
Not deal beakers for Morpheus when PS4 is a very low barrier to entry.
Xbox One still plays good games despite coming up short against PS4 technically.
Morpheus has some of its own advantages. Works well with glasses, has reprojection tech to make lower framerate work and has head tracking, pad tracking (and for some is us) no extra pads to buy. Plus, Sony 1st party.
April isn't it? Or did I read date wrong?
