Tomb Raider looked weak in the game play demo I saw. Hide behind a log, fight a bear in clumsy manner, and slowly wander back and forth.

They closed some teams, but Naughty Dog and Guerilla transitioned to 2 team studios. Full, big, AAA teams. So Horizon has a team (the original Killzone Team) and Killzone has the new team now.
Sony still have a lot of first/ second party to show, and teams like Sucker Punch are well into game 2.
They have by far the most devs of platform holders
On Twitter, Rime guys said they'd finished crunch time. Didn't answer any of us asking if release was imminent then.
In that case, I'm sure I won't have them long. I'll point out that Forza doesn't look as good as some people think it does (I watched 1080p 60), and off they'll go. :-)

As for framerate, I wouldn't worry. NG will get that nailed down. Tech wise that is a new bar for console. Superb.

I think one of the points people are missing is that in VR things that would be boring in an FPS can be amazing.
Simple exploration, or a treasure hunting diving sim, Rock climbing, canoeing. Fairly "tame" actions, can be so much more. Most of the heavy doubters haven't tried it. I'd like a online Co op firefighting game, a push to non violent, less twitch style gaming.
How long has Quantum Break been coming? Hardly any Xbox fans will buy Sea of Thieves, Record / Scalebound? Who knows, they might be poop. Not seen them.

VR is not misplaced hype. It causes physical reactions/ immersion unlike any other viewing device.
Twisted Pixels last game went well :-). Lionhead are overrated these days. Last good game? You are even adding unknown studios to boost the list.

AR does not make as much sense for gaming as some of you think. Also, the field of view is very narrow. It doesn't look quite as it did on stage. After the novelty wears off, where will the fun be in AR? Minecraft demo looked very cool, but will it be fun to play long term?
Odd. How come all I see are Game of Show awarded for Horizon, Uncharted and maybe Star Wars?

They will use same Move/ Camera. Nothing wrong with them at all. They are accurate, fast and reliable tech.
Lack of commercial success was more down to Wii having done all that, a lack of compelling software, and that the TV based motion control was flawed in concept. However, it could work very well in virtual 3D space.
