Wow,this place is getting filled with ignorant,ill informed children.Some of the statements made on here are just weak.The funny thing about graphics is the fact that art design can make a game look better than it does technically.The other thing people seem to fail to consider is also how much other stuff is happening on screen.Take Uncharted 2,it's the combination of textures,animation,physics,par ticle fx and lighting that make it peerless not just looking at graphics as a picture.
Very true.Too much is made of 1080p.Even with film anything under 42" it make very little difference and in games the visual fx are more important and you can do a lot less at 1080p than at 720p.

360 cannot run full frame 1080p.The daughter die 10mb of memory that gives 360 "free" AA is too small.720p frame is 7mb but 1080p frame would need a 16mb memory.This is what I read in an article about why the 360 will have limitations in running 3D too.I think it was on N4G.
A game with Halo Reachs visual fidelity would not run 1080p on any console hence God of War,Killzone 2,Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain are 720p and the PS3 is more suited to 1080p.
Looking forward to this.Island of Dr Ned was outstanding with a better script/story than the actual game,but I played 1 arena in Mad Moxxi and it's as poor as Ned is good.Can't be bothered.I was level 48 and it gave me no xp,making me go back to the main game just to get my platinum trophy.

Videogamer gave HR a 10 for graphics and I trust Wesley Yin Poole more than Roper,who has a few odd opinions and is quite harsh.9 is a great score but if you look the PS team are a bit tougher on scoring than the 360 team.They've even joked about this fact on podcasts.
Fahrenheit is a good option for people that want a similar experience but be prepared for the silly super natural stuff that it veers into.The controls are as varied as HR.Good game though,well worth a download.
