Forgot to say,despite my positive comments(playing devils advocate)I couldn't care less about motion pads.I hate the Wii,Natal looks like crap and the only reason I have Wii,will have Sphere/Gem is because my 5 year old did/will want it.Standard pad either Dualshock or 360 for me please.
Analog stick??Did none of you see Pad in one hand,stick in other for RE5.The PS3 pad has analog sticks.If they are smart they will introduce a turn the pad and use analog stick option(using right stick/pad held across the middle.Would work well,Ive just tried it).That looks like it will be better to hold than the angular Wiimote and by all accounts much more accurate.
I know this is a bit of a flamebait question but how many people loving this game own a PS3?The reason I ask is because lots of people seem excited by the graphics but they seem really bland to me.I've been playing things like Uncharted2 and God of War demo and this falls well short.I have never enjoyed Spliter Cell,in fact I dislike it quite a lot,so I wonder if the excitement for the visuals is a love of the series.

I'm ashamed of my fellow Englishmen/women.We follow US blindly ad without thought.I'd like to take my hat off to the rest of EU for using their collective brains and choosing PS3.I own all 3 and it is comfortably better if you like genres outside of shooting.

Killzones AI was under rated.This article suggests it's patchy compared to Halo but the vehicle driving AI in ODST is broken and one of my friends had a enemy try to melee kill him through a pillar.This never happened in Killzone.The bot AI was also very human like and online was great(and 32 player which I always prefer).

I look forward to Crackdown 2 and Alan Wake is interesting.How anyone can say Alan Wake is going to be amazing though,I have no idea.We've barely seen it.A couple of short vids and lets face it the devs aren't known for amazing games.Even the early screens were from PC.Does anyone believe it's not coming to PC.MS have delayed it to promote 360,nothing more.At least with games like Heavy Rain people can base their excitement on the devs previous game,Farenheit.
If you only own a 360 it was bad.I own all 3 machines(Wii is worthless though TO ME).PS3 had a good year with Infamous,Killzone2 and Uncharted2 as top games.Add Borderlands,Sacred 2,Batman AA,L4D2 and I was a happy man.Next year looks great for everyone but amazing if you own a PS3.
The AI was excellent and did not get the attention it deserved.Even bots were almost human.The multiplayer was fantastic and my favourite competitive of the year(with Borderlands and L4D2 being best co op).
I liked the controls and comments about framerate are inaccurate,it moved slowly but framerate was good.My problem with the single player was a lack of big memorable set pieces,it needed a splash of COD MW1 style set pieces.

I love all this sales crap.Only one thing matters,that games you like sell enough for sequels.Infamous is top 5 for me this year(with Batman,Uncharted 2 for single player and Killzone2 and Left 4 Dead 2 multi)and will get a sequel,and this time they'll use proper next gen tech(Infamous used modified PS2 tech and still looked quite good).
