I feel the same way. Give me a Zelda primarily based in the Dark World with Gannon and tons of monsters to slay and dungeons to conquer with an epic dark fantasy world to explore and I'd probably be interested. As it is, there's too much that turns me off and just like yourself, I played the Wii Zelda and turning into the wolf really killed the game for me, played four hours or so and never went back.
I agree you can be any age and enjoy these games, however, I would much prefer to play Demon's Souls or Bloodborne in a heartbeat. Not saying that new Zelda game doesn't look promising though. At the end of the day I much prefer the darker atmosphere of the former games mentioned.

That's a good choice if you can only have one console. This is a fact, you're getting a more powerful console with PS4 which has already proven to be receiving the better multi-plats and will have an amazing 2015 lineup. Only reason to buy a Xbone or Wii U is for exclusives that's it.

I started it and stopped in the beginning when I was competing with "Reilly" I think her name is to see who could throw bricks through a car window from a story above. It was so amazing and intriguing that I turned it off immediately. I love the main story SP but the way this DLC starts is terrible. I'm not spoiling what happens in case I can force myself through it one of these days. Probably will never play it though as the simple thought of it makes me bored to death.
Honestly, I always thought Halo felt dated. I remember getting the 360 and scooping Halo 3 after playing COD4 and was just so confused as to how anyone can enjoy that garbage. It's a mess in my opinion and how anyone is super excited for this when we have FPS like Destiny, Advanced Warfare & TitanFall I will never understand.

Titanfall was good but lacked longevity in my opinion. Also, the bots really kill the game, I don't care what anyone says. There is no satisfaction in killing bots over real players. Add to this that lobbies often don't fill up, especially later at night, and it gets really old killing more bots than live players. Yup, I bought both next gen consoles, both PS4 and Xbone and I now realize I could have easily waited it out a bit longer. I got an amazing deal on the Xbone which was basically comparable to Black Friday deals but the PS4 cost me full price. I never sold my 360 or PS3 and still find myself playing those over the Xbone and PS4 due to the amazing library of games to choose from. Evil within was a clunky mess of a POS game, more like overrated. Should have received nothing higher than 4/10. I can't believe how many people were tricked, I bet 25% of those who purchased this garbage actually still own it today lol...
This game was so repetitive I couldn't take it. I really wanted to love it but it made me realize just how nice it is to play an action packed linear FPS. It's not fun to wander around aimlessly just to get attacked by eagles and enemies with bows roaming from outpost to outpost with no motivation or reason why I was doing what I was doing. The game world is beautiful but the game itself for me personally was boring as hell.
My father just turned 60, he thought Wii tennis and golf was amazing a few years ago when the I got the Wii at launch. He could care less about console/PC gaming as it was well before his time. He loves film/cinema though.
It's so blatantly obvious that this was rushed out to meet the Holiday deadline. I'd have to say Last of Us simply due to the fact I didn't think ND could get a game that looks that good to run at 1080p/60FPS this early on in the PS4 lifecycle. I was blown away when I replayed that, it's truly a game changer. GTA 5 would be my next choice.
I have been ranting about this here since I picked it up in October. The game is like Gladiator the movie, how the hell could that be bad??? Destiny is another game that gets trashed but it's actually a lot of fun to play and no where near as limiting with content as some may lead people to believe. Most people bashing these games don't even play them or played them for less than an hour and made their judgment and pass it off as fact.
I agree, her "acting" in the commercial is a disgrace. The entire thing is a fuckin joke. What loser sees that commercial and is suddenly inspired to play the game based on her phony speech. "All you have to fear is what's behind those trees," what a joke lol pathetic.
I would give it to Demon's Souls, Bioshock or Uncharted 2. Red Dead Redemption was also a work of art.
