Yeah we'll hear Greenburg or someone from their PR team report convoluted irrelevant stats like the number of bullets fired or the amount of air time cause this game ain't gonna sell shit
So a 4.5 average overall? You know a game is bad when you have to look again at the out of value to check whether it is from a 5 or 10
One game sold >10 million copies and was the GOTY while the other one will probably lead to the shutdown of a studio and add to the misery of a failing console. Hmm... I wonder which camp I want to be in?
@Moonman That comment wasn't even directed towards you unless you're an alternate account for EddieNX . but while we're on it...
You start one of your comments with 'This man is secure enough to admit his prediction was wrong'. You do know as a CEO of a publicly traded company HE HAS TO ADMIT IT. It wasn't out of his benevolence that he's letting the world know he missed his sales target. If you were 'aware about how the stock market works...
Do you even understand how the stock market works? When the CEO of a public company sets a target, the expectations are that he'll be able to deliver. The stock price is set based on the expectations. The investors come in looking at that 20 million number anticipating profit. They cut the expectation down by 3 million to 17 (not 18-19 as you wrote) which is a 15% reduction in units sold. Try to spin it however you want a 15% void is a HUGE void in the eyes of an investor.
Forbes has been in full on damage control mode for the past few months for the Xbox. I get it is hard to shun the MS $$$s but have some journalistic integrity for crying out loud.
No. I meant the bunch of people who have blinders on and act hostile to any negative criticism towards Bathesda about their beloved franchise. Also, spreading fake positive reviews/articles where stats are fabricated like the community was exposed here:

Looks like the Fallout 76 subreddit just wrote its first review!
Game dropped by 50% in just 9 days after launch. Talk about a slap to the people who cared to pre-order the game. Serves you right for pre-ordering without looking at the reviews.
Keep feeding that BS and Bathesda will keep serving the same shitty engine with bugs for the next 2 generations. The defense I've seen from some Bathesda fanboys is ludicrous. Even a flaming bag a turd is fun for a while. Doesn't change the fact that it is still shit.
The game is the WORST RATED AAA TITLE for the year and probably the generation. It is a bug fest and the epitome of lazy cash grab. It deserves the criticism and people defending it should be ashamed....
I'd rather they take it behind the barn and shoot it. Take all the resources and pour it into creating a new engine for the upcoming ES6. Launch it like it actually belongs to run on this gen (or even the next gen consoles). Never have I hoped a game fails so it can be a wake up kick in the nuts apart from Bioware with ME:A.
@fiveby9... I really hope this is the kick in the nuts they needed. I really hope they go and overhaul their entire engine (or even throw it out of the window and start new). I really hope the sales sends a message that people don't need a multi-player Fallout game without a story. I really hope they understand their core strength is story telling with good RPG mechanics and amazing world creation which cannot be achieved with their old ass graphics from the PS2 days.

Ask Nintendo to not treat its fans as 2nd class citizens by pushing 2nd class hardware. Asking devs to 'figure it out' for a platform where they hardly get any sales is a tough pill to swallow. Don't bring the BS 'talent' into the discussion. You can have all the talent in the world but it requires time and effort to rejigger things just for 1 console which is not worth it with only 3% revenue. Might as well use those resources to make the game better on the other 2 platfo...
Bathesda is quickly joining my list of worst publishers out there. We crucified Bioware cause they f'ed up Mass Effect but Fallout has always gotten a free pass with every single launch. Game breaking bugs with shitty ass graphics from the last gen era with clunky watered down RPG mechanics. FO4 story also sucked compared to 3 and NV.
These guys are stuck in the last gen. All the hype for the new Elder Scroll game has died down for me as soon as I came to know it is usi...
Garbage engine and a cash grab game. I hope people speak with their wallet and reject this turd or else they'll keep on regurgitating this crap even next gen. Bathesda... Please look at Rockstar or Guerrilla Games to learn how to make decent open worlds which actually look amazing. This shit looks like PUBG level in some instances.
Honestly, I feel the lengthy animations add to the problem. The game actually feels like a 5 year old game in terms of lengthy animation and input lag which kinda makes sense as it started back then and input is the first thing you try to address.
Coming from playing Spiderman, the game just feels like all my interactions are sluggish. I love the game but it definitely could use a patch to either quicken the animation and/or reduce the input lag a little.
@DJStotty... Normally I would agree but if you can't get something even half decent ready in 5-6 years time then it is just a money pit. The more time you spend on it the more money it takes. If a year will make the game go from its current state (which isn't exciting at all) to a AAA title then yeah go ahead delay it. But at this point I have 0 confidence of it turning even as a decent AA title let alone a system seller.
In such a case, you just need to go in and l...
Haven't they been polishing it for the last 5 years? If it needs more time then might as well just cancel the multiplayer and release the campaign for 30 bucks and call it a day.
At this point, it is turning out to be an endless money pit with nothing substantial to show.
So they killed 2 games. First they pull Bioware out of Mass Effect and ME:A turns into a shit show. They put them on Anthem in a genre they haven't tackled and even this turns into another nickel and dime MMO. They could have just let Bioware create Mass Effect and we would have gotten a worthy RPG.
I wouldn't even mind a single player Anthem honestly. The possibilities were endless as the premise reminded me of Ironman meets Avatar but greed for making it MMO so th...
