I love Nintendo, but I really hate Nintendo of America. Reggie is such a hypocrite! He complains about developers not releasing games on Nintendo platforms, and then he doesn't want to release Nintendo's own core games!!! If it weren't for Nintendo of Europe and the Operation Rainfall movement, we would not have gotten Xenoblade or Last Story, and Pandora's Tower would not be on the way. Still missing in action is Fatal Frame 4, and the Fatal Frame 2 remake.

Also, the clock frequency is a terrible way to judge speed.
The Wii's CPU may have been clocked lower than the original Xbox; however, the single core 729mhz CPU was actually faster than a single 3.2Ghz core of the Xbox 360. Of course the Xbox 360 had 3 cores, not one, and the GPU was of course the best console GPU of last generation.

Infringements are always bound to pop here and there. Such is the danger of developing new tech. There's always the chance that someone else thought of it first.
I keep wondering whether they just don't care about marketing it, or if they are just saving all of the marketing campaigns for when PS4 rolls around.
We'll never know though. Nintendo is extremely unpredictable and have been known to announce a game, and then release it within a couple of months.

That said, I think Ubisoft will try to make all of their games release on Wii U as they seem intent on building a good relationship with Nintendo, and at least half of activisions games will come to Wii U.
Japanese publishers seem to be really behind the Wii U and Nintendo in general though, so I see a lot of support from the east.

Origin on Nintendo creates a major conflict of interest though. In other words be the game Activision, Ubisoft, or otherwise, EA would be taking a percentage of every game sold. Competing companies don't want EA to have a cut of their pie and neither does Nintendo.
It was really a lose lose situation for Nintendo, give EA control over Nintendo online, or get no support from EA. EA never pressured Sony or Microsoft in the same way.

It's because EA wanted Nintendo to agree to making EA's origin service the Nintendo online network service. Nintendo said no.

I don't think it's that they are not satisfied. However, it is true that Sony has yet to produce an IP that has achieved the same kind of house hold status as Nintendo.
Sorry, but gens have nothing to do with hardware leaps. They are just orders in which consoles are released. If we went by hardware, the Wii is 2.5 generations old, and xbox/PS3 are both 2 generations old since they are only directx 9.0c compatible and all PCs and Wii U and PS4 are directx 11 compatible.

And baby step or not, Wii had some of the coolest games this gen. Not saying other systems weren't they were all real...
