Honestly, I was expecting better sales in Japan. I hope they keep up momentum there. It's thought in Japan, that Sony has abandoned the eastern market in favor of the western market, and that they no longer care for their home country as they once did in the days of PS2. Here's hoping they do right by their homeland.

It was not my intent to spread misinformation regarding the resolution of Super Mario 3D world. I should have checked my facts. Super Mario 3D worlds is indeed 720p 60fps. My mistake. I'd edit my original posting if I could.
Actually Nintendo's efforts like Pikmin 3, Super Mario 3D World, and Mario Kart 8 look extremely "next gen." Two of those 3 games are 1080p 60fps to boot.
Actually, optimization isn't a problem on PS4 and XB1 since it's a very familiar architecture made from off the shelf mobile parts.

Clearly you're a misinformed ignoramus. No part of the Wii U is last gen. And in fact the CPU in the Wii U way outperforms the PS4's core for core. Wii U uses all three of its cores for gaming. PS4 only uses half of its 8 cores for gaming.
