How could a company that has way more money in the bank than Sony is even worth go bankrupt. I'm pretty sure these are randomly generated numbers. Last time they said Sony would likely go bankrupt in the next two years, and that's just not feasible either.
You're right. A fine example. Because Ubisoft had announced from the beginning that Wii U would not be getting any DLC.
What incentive do Wii U owners have to purchase games when publishers sell incomplete or half assed games, most of which will not be remotely supported.
I've always wondered why consoles don't allow the option.
As far as sales are concerned. Their are still more Wii Us out in the wild than Xbones, and not that many more PS4s. Just saying.
Also, you clearly have no understanding of architecture.
20 years is still newer than the 40+ year old x86 architecture. That said just because something is the same basic architecture, doesn't mean that it's programmed the same way.
Wii U's custom PowerPC architecture is extremely capable and efficient, but like the Cell processor(Though not as bad), developers really gotta' learn the beast to take advantage of it.
Good thing FFXI wasn't put behind the gold paywall. For a few months my PC was out of commission, and I picked up FFXI for 360 in the meantime to continue my adventures. I would not have done so had they required Xbox Live Gold.
I don't play all of my games with Keyboard and Mouse, I'm a pragmatist. Games like Alan Wake, Darksiders, Tombraider, etc., I play with an Xbox 360 controller.
Some games are better with Keyboard and Mouse, for others, a gamepad is better. It really depends on the game's gameplay and interface.
Also, PC isn't a den of exploiters and hackers/cheaters like a lot of people seem to believe. I've very rarely encountered such issues in my years...
Hoping for a PC version. Lineup isn't enough to make me want a PS4 just yet. And I won't buy a console for its third party games.
Piracy, while not uncommon, is absolutely not rampant on PC. In fact PC offers the most profitability since sales of games don't include console licensing fees.
"Piracy is rampant" is a very common misconception about PC.
I'd probably buy it again.
Obviously. Dual analogs versus Keyboard and mouse? Sorry, but it's not even close.
I'm in exactly the same boat.I get Nintendo consoles right off the bat, and then after Sony builds up enough exclusives, I take the dive on that. I bought my PS3 early 2010 after Uncharted 2 came out. Right off the bat I had Uncharted, Uncharted 2, Metal Gear Solid 4. Final Fantasy XIII wasn't that far off either, and by waiting a while, I was able to get the first slim model, and at a reasonable price to boot.
I know how painful it is waiting for those cards, I just ...
That's actually all this gen is. PS360 with improved visuals.
Read: We didn't want to take the time to learn to program a different architecture.
Great news. Hopefully in a few years I'll be able to ditch my 360.
Since I'm a PC gamer first, the Wii U is really the only choice for me if I were to pick only one.
Nintendo does also have an awesome community and free online too. So yes, let's throw Nintendo in there as well.
In fact, out of the console manufacturer's, I think they are they only ones that actually care about their customer. No buggy incomplete games, no day one DLC, no DLc that should have been part of the original game to begin with, etc.
Besides, rather than boast all the time and try to belittle or make fun of their competition, Nintendo pre...
Obviously that is preferred. That said, I'm more than okay with an HD remaster. The biggest advantage being that remasters take advantage of 16:9 displays.
Nice! More power to you~ You are the envy of the gaming community. If you ever question that envy, just look at how angry people are around here about what you can have, but others can't.
I say, good on you! Were that I had the means, I too would follow suit.
First Wii U is DOOMED! Then it's XBONE that is DOOMED! Now Oculus rift is DOOMED!!! DOOMED!!!!
