I recently got back into Pokemon game after a very long hiatus. Loving it now~
I agreed with you, but I shudder to think of all of the disagrees you are bound to get.
Totally called it.
People don't like hearing that motion improvfed /some/ games, nor do they like to hear that DLC this generation is somewhat justified. This is the price we pay for stellar AAA titles.
Yeah, I almost always agree with every thins guy says, I just feel like everything he says sounds like a press statement. He seems very fair minded when it comes to other platforms though..
I'm sure he's waiting for Sony's and Microsoft's next console offerings, considering how the last game fared, I'm sure he doesn't want to release the game exclusively for the Wii U, but wants to make it a multi plat title for Wii U, 720, and PS4.
I hated that too. I rage quit countless times, with at least month between playthroughs.
I think some fanboys disagreed with you.
Seriously! Vita is a slow burn! It come up to boil~
There is no PS3 version. There is a PS3 port of the PSP game that is kind of a version of Monster Hunter Tri though.
I agree with a number of points, but DLC, and I know I'll be hated for this comment, is a publishers/developer's answer to keeping the price of a game the same when rising development costs have been growing more and more out of control.
Also, motion controls when used well are great, and I far prefer them to standard controls. I could imagine using anything other than the IR sensor for the flashlight in Fragile Dreams and Silent Hill shattered memories, or the pointe...
I think it'd be a nice experiment.
You know, I almost always agree with you, and I agree with you here as well, and I know this is just how you post, but you really should work on trying not to sound like an advertisement machine.
That said, this really does bode well for Nintendo, Sony has learned hard from Microsoft that complex doesn't necessarily mean "better."
I remember it, but I never actually played it.
I still own the Zelda DS Lite. Love that thing!
Thank you. People gotta' stop comparing it to Smash. The looks like a fun new game too~ But Smash wil always hold a special place.
Lookin' good!
My pre order at gamestop of Epic Mickey 2 has had quite the journey, by the way.
First I preordered it fro the Wii, then the PS3, then it was also announced for Wii U, so I changed it to that. However, then it was announced that the Wii U version wouldn't allow the use of the the Wii Remote nunchuck for pointer controls. So I changed my preorder back to the PS3 version.
Thanks for all the good times Wii. Still don't understand why people thought Nintendo was only aiming at casuals when they gave us 2 3D Marios, 2 2D Marios, a new Donkey Kong Country, 2 Metroids, Mario Kart, Smash, 2 Project Zero(fatal frame) games, Last Story, 2 Kirby games, Pandora's Tower, and Xenoblade. Compare that to the number of casual Nintendo first party titles and it's not even close. The core was the more supported group. Just didn't get all the adverts and 3rd par...
That said, I'm sure the next one will be for the 3DS as it'll be used to try to move more units. By that time, the install base should be more reasonable.
Shut up and take my money!
Its funny you say its for kids because it is in a way. But the games create lifelong fans. Heck I'm 28 and most of the pokemon fans I know are in this age bracket. Admittedly it can become tiresome. However, after a haiatus of about 4 years I really find myself liking the series more than ever.
