Yes and also screw the hardliners.
It’s really not acceptable. This is a linear game…
I have ZERO problems with games being remade/remastered because these are 99.99% of the time single player story games (and generally the crème of the crop) that get remade/remastered as the developer aims to capitalize on their hard work.
Otherwise, if service games get to make money off skins, but a masterpiece single player game is not allowed to be remade EVEN WHEN THERE IS A MARKET FOR IT, then we might as well pack up the single player game forever and call it a...
Oh god, this idiotic comment is too much to bear.
Destroyed? 360 launched one WHOLE year before PS3, but it was only 2 million units ahead WORLDWIDE. Then went on to surpass the 360.
Here we have is a sales gap of 5 1/2 million units in 1 country.
Agree with everything you said except the “lucky” part. They made a game that was going to be great as long as they could retain what made the original fun. They did it. I actually called it.
I think that’s easier said than done. MS hasn’t invested in the making of games forever now. They have fallen behind, and they can’t just conjure up the know how. The purchase of previously multiplatform sections of the industry was to remedy these failed business practices, but it came at a cost that even MS can’t ignore, and this has led to realities they may not have wanted/anticipated because I’m sure some inside MS are scratching their heads, saying you just cost us more money than we’ve...
I wouldn’t call it “close” at all. Relatively speaking sure, but realistically? Not close at all. Remember back in the day, a mere 2 million worldwide difference used to be touted as a HUGE sales gap! This is just 1 market.
Really like this game.
I’m pretty sure you won’t hear back from him.
@divine
Layoffs are bad, but we get these guys with zero credibility, who all of a sudden want to bring up layoffs because an article says something they don’t like. All the while they never bothered when MS did more than twice the layoffs after spending 68 billion to destroy multiplatform segment of gaming. The double standard SHOULD be mentioned.
Fun fact:
MS laid off 1900 employees from MS studios.
Sony laid off 900 employees from Sony Interactive Studios.
I hope you liked the classy MS after spending 68 BILLION on buying up the industry, then firing people.
@Lightning
Except it wasn’t a fact. Ryan has left PlayStation already. The layoffs that we saw with every publisher recently were after Ryan. So nice try.
Superb gameplay.
And I called it before release that it was going to be a banger if they captured the magic gameplay.
Don’t let MS do that whole thing where they act like the game is best thing to ever bless our eyes, and then show up with a mediocre game. Keep expectation grounded in reality of the game or people won’t believe you next time.
@optimusDK
DF is puzzled because they are a MS mouthpiece. There are a ton of games that run better on PS5, so whether series X is stronger or not, it doesn’t really matter when the multiplats games can perform better on PS5 and the PS5 first party are consistently better looking than Xbox’s. DF shouldn’t be “puzzled”at all unless they been sleeping under a rock.
We’re not going to even talk about the Dualsense features on PS5 btw. DF should be mention those if th...
The xbox brand is less and less relevant. To be doing worse than xbox one says a lot when you also consider that the market is larger now than it was then as well.
And they needed the money from sales on PlayStation to pay back the bill for paying 68 BILLION dollars. Dwarfing what they have made in gross revenue in four generations of being in gaming. (Revenue not net profit, let that sink in)
Hahaha Phil’s rise started when he successfully got you off the line, then he went on to cause the demise of xbox as a console. You my friend are a part of history.
Both sides are terrible. Which side is worse? The side trying to detract from real issues more at any given time.
Ex. Mass shootings every other day? Guns not bad, games bad.
Ex. Look how conservative I am, I’m against sexuality.
Ex. Crime rising? blame the games.
Ex. Look how open minded I am, I believe games objectify women.
Both sides have loonies who use us for their political interests. Both sides deflect real iss...
