Sometimes you just want to turn the machine on and start playing. Is that too much to ask for nowadays?
Gone are the days of the simple 'press start to play' now it's press start, connecting to servers, downloading updates, applying updates...to those without a decent net connection it's hell.
If you can and want to be constantly online that's fine, but those who can't are punished for it and end up paying for some things they can'...

The WiiU can't compete with the PS4/Xbone when it comes to more mature games. And relying on usual suspects to pull them through is a step backwards, they really need a wider variety to appeal to everyone, not just the younglings.
I wish the big N could recreate the glory days of the N64, a console that had something for everyone. Sadly I doubt that will happen.

But it sure beats any review any fanboy would give to the Xbone:
