It says its on PS4 as well. So idk why they would remaster a game thats a year old on the same system it was released on. It's probably just DLC on the level of a GOTY edition game except for the fact this game doesn't have paid DLC to be on the level of a GOTY edition.
Its being released on PS4 according to this so what makes this a remake? It's probably DLC for current owners and essentially a GOTY version like basically every publisher does a year later. People need to chill about this stuff. Especially when nobody even knows literally nothing about it besides this article.
Story missions that were cut maybe? Different cutscenes? Who knows. If this is real, we will find out soon enough.
@Fluke
While I agree the destruction was pretty spot on, the maps were also balanced for 32 players max on PC. It's not as easy when you expand the maps more and add more players. BC2 maps at least at launch were fairly condensed from what I remember.
Eh, I still disagree. I don't see why it matters how it was labeled. Calling a game standalone generally means it not a full featured title that doesn't require the first game to play.
"Now that it's considered a "standalone game," it seems to be embraced as a sequel rather than an expansion,"
And calling it a sequel would be fine considering it continues the story from a different character instead of parker from the firs...
So you say it felt like an expansion like Uncharted:TLL then show me an article with an update saying its an expansion but then clarifies its a standalone release like Uncharted:TLL.
"All and all, some say sequel, others expansion, so it remains a mess."
Nobody from Sony or IG called this a sequel to SM 2018. Wether or not they called it an expansion or a standalone story arc like Insomniac did. They both still compared it to Uncharted: TLL whi...
Thats basically how they marketed the game the entire time in my eyes. What did Sony say that was opposite of Insomniac?
Boring? Different strokes I guess. What game isn't considered boring to you?
Honestly I would not be surprised if they went this route. They made you play as MJ and Miles in the first one so why not have Miles playable alongside him? It would make more sense than conveniently have him taking a vacation like what happened with Parker in SM:MM.
They have like 3 teams at Insomniac working on different projects. Ones working on SM2, one just finished R&C, and the 3rd is working on a MP game.... Which hopefully is resistance.
They have stated on countless occasions that it's not healthy for map balancing across the entirety of the game mode time. For instance if you had a custom server with thousands of tickets. Halfway through you would have nothing to use as cover and it would turn into a snipe fest. I do think they need to up their ante with how much gets destroyed though. It's one thing when it's for balance but it's another thing when you cant take a chunk out of a building if you crash into i...
It just needs to be toned down. It would be dumb to completely remove such a mechanic to the rest of the fluid movements you can do in BFV.
Player movement in BFV makes BF4 feel like a clunky mess. You can actually climb stuff thats higher than your knee now. You can slide, prone dive to the front, back, left, and right. You can fluidly jump through a 2nd/3rd floor window into a rolling animation etc... The gunplay opinion is subjective but I objectively feel that character movement is much much better which is the point of this article. Not the Gunplay.
FSR doesn't require toolkit implementation to be added. AMD stated it is UP TO THE DEVELOPER to implement it into their engine pipeline and thats essentially it.
@Aarontk
You linked an article from April (before FSR official announcement and launch) about Fidelity FX suite which is more than just FSR. Most likely Sony has majority of those features with their own implementation.
@Orchard
"Forspoken is coming to PC too, they don’...
" Also Xbox has announced that FSR is coming to Xbox One. So people claiming that is not coming to PS5 still need to explain how it works on last gen but not the PS5."
They cant explain anything because they know squat about the situation aside from Xbox announcing it with their Dev kit so they jump to the conclusion that Sony wont be supported just because they don't announce it to the world.
The PS5 will have FSR support, end of story.
I just used G2A as an example of a site to search for. There's plenty of other less sketchy sources out there with cheaper windows 10 key options.
You can get Genuine windows keys from any of the key shops like G2A and stuff. I see windows 10 pro for 30 bucks right now. Then windows 11 and beyond will be free for you.
You ever use a wheel like these? Its insane! I agree the price is quite high but its $800 you wouldn't be disappointed about spending if you want a proper driving experience in a game.
Obviously. This essentially will allow PC games to also have near instant loading like the new consoles allowing those game design limits to be broken.
IDC if I get temp banned. You sir are a fucking moron if you cant see the difference here. XD
