It's hardly anymore complex if at all to replacing the HDD on a PS4. Either way, most people these days have someone in their life, be it a friend or family member with the confidence or experience to install one for you if it's too much to handle.
I can get a 1TB WD SN850 SSD for 199 right now from the WD store without a heatsink and buy a heatsink off amazon for $8 making it a cheaper purchase from the Proprietary SSD on the XSX and at double the speed capabilities. And heres a list provided by DF with SSD's that meed Sonys requirements. Multiple ones listed for 1TB @ $199 plus that $8 heatsink i mentioned for less than $220.

"If that's what they're doing why would they acquire a studio that focuses on PC ports? To shut it down 5 years after acquiring it?"
How did you come up with that? This is to offload the work to port it from the main devs so they can have all hands on deck with the new games they are working on. Until now, Guerilla, Kojima, and Bend had to port their games to PC themselves. There would be no reason to shut down the studio after 5 ye...
Even if these weren't sold through numbers, the demand and lack of available stock seen around the world proves that a VERY high majority of these 10 million sold are in the hands of consumers.
Guess VGCharts was fairly accurate on the milestone after all.
"They need to be investing in third party relations and new IP not just some subscription service."
Agreed. If they keep the same strategy this whole gen I feel that it could really hurt 3rd party because theres this mentality of "ill wait for it to come to game pass" I've seen plenty of people say accross the internet and IRL which can drastically hurt initial 3rd party multiplat sales on their platforms. I don't think we will never see every ga...
Meanwhile people are finding a good amount XSX|S consoles sitting on store shelves. John linneman actually tweeted a pic of a local store with like 20 XSS consoles in stock. Each system will sell the amount that consumers are wanting.
And? Thats what they used to compare the benefits of the new version? Your comment doesn't make my point any different that its nest to play this on a PC over the XSX. 😂
@The doomed guy
"Removing puzzles, making encounters easier...etc i think that is the concern."
When has a game ever done such a thing and called it improving accessibility? I have never heard of any game adding accessibility that interferes with the potential gameplay/mechanics.
If they have it effect other users not needing accessibility, then they have royally f***ed up!
Ive played it on PC. I have no reason to have a XSX to play it when I have better performance on PC.
And to be fair, what I read was from someone who played it and they reported it in this article...
Im aware of keyboard and mouse support. But I will admit I was mistaken about the lack of flight stick support. Thats what happens when you skim lol. However, I still stand by my statement and factual evidence about 60FPS being possible on PC's now VS on XSX.
I don't get why its concerning hearing the term accessibility. It shouldn't effect your experience with the game if you don't use the accessibility features. 🤷🏻♂️

Sim Update 5 compared to Sim Update 4 shows 60fps vs 30-40fps. Might not be locked but its damn close!
And it's not even on the best rig you can have. this is shown on a i7 9700k and a 2060 super
Id rather have a full server no matter if it's AI or players. Its annoying when theres like 10 of servers that are always full that you cant get into so then you have to settle with a server thats half full that may never fill up.
Thats not really true after the latest performance patch they released. This was Asobo's comparison video about it running a i79700k and a 2060 super. The performance has doubled in the comparison. https://youtu.be/LO2n8RdSMf...
Disagree all you want. this video link proves you and anyone else that disagrees wrong. 😃
So from what I read the quality of the environment will depend on your internet speed unless you want to double the games file size for offline mode but still have a lower quality experience, the controller options are gimped compared to PC until later this year, UI is clunky and unintuitive for a controller, No performance mode on XSX... Slower paced game or not, a simulation game always feels better at higher frame-rates. its a good way to get your feet wet in this game if you don't hav...
You can kind of get an idea of this based off the trophy list percentages on PS at least. Basing off the trophy list. 28.5% beat the main story which is up to chapter 14. 96% beat the prologue, 87% finished episode 1. 54% finished episode 2 and keeps going down after each episode trophy. So over 50% have played past the first few hours. But this wont count anybody playing their PS offline all the time but thats probably still a smaller percentage anyway.
Good to know I haven't touched this game yet. Now I have to try it out.
The beta includes Tempest for Built in TV speakers. It uses the microphone on the DualSense to calibrate the sound for your environment.
This twitter thread had some details on whats been added.
