I'm not demanding shit. If they would take just half of those huge budgets for graphics and use it for more content and attention to detail we would be playing better games that don't cost nearly as much. Publishers would stop being so damn risk adverse and start innovating again.

Engines aren't always representative of a level of graphics. Even as graphics greatly improve the same engine can still be used. God of War 3 uses the same engine as the original SOCOM.
Engines are very malleable and can do many different things especially with good tools. Comparing those two by the graphics of those games isn't really saying much. With either engine you could easily get the same looks from the other game.

Simply put the government cannot force them to store the data but only request the stored data. If the companies didn't already have a system in place to store this data the government couldn't use it.
The data was already being mined by most of these companies for the purposes of adware and marketing.

Laptops cannot send data directly to the government without connection. Webpage scripts and programs can.

I absolutely love the idea of playing a game on my PS4 and being able to continue playing when staying away from home for a short period. Without Cross-Buy we would need to buy the Cross-Play/Save games separately for the Vita and that takes away a HUGE incentive to own one.
More people biting on that incentive and purchasing Vitas would mean more developer support for potential Vita exclusives. Cross-Buy if done right is a win-win for both consumers and producers.
Doesn't make sense marketing-wise to make the current headsets incompatible... they still have Pulse Elite headsets to sell.
