No, it's not removing it. Being lucky and reliant on the in-game clues will only get you so far; probably Silver at best. For anyone willing to get to Diamond and above, skills will still be needed.

The way I see it, Riot has been refining the game so that new players get some visual clues to help them learn the basics, which also helps make the game less intimidating at first. But for anyone interested in competitive levels, you'll still have to play the game a lot,...

I don't see where the issue is. If Dads of destiny require clan leaders to be dads, as the name suggests, well so be it. Not everything needs to be welcoming to both genders. I can't sign up at my local Curves gym, since it's meant to be for women only, and you don't see me or pretty much anyone complaining about it.

Well, it makes sense, seeing how some of today's most popular games are using a F2P model. League of legends, Dota2 and Hearthstone are doing F2P right and are some of the hottest games on the market at the moment. Sadly, F2P games have been given an awful reputation thanks to a bunch of Pay2Win MMOs and the often abusive freemium model used in popular mobile games.

This won't stop gold sellers, but if the prices are somewhat competitive, I think quite a few gold buyers would prefer buying their gold in a "legit" way rather than using the usually shady third party gold sellers.

I believe this is a good move, gold selling in WoW (or most MMOs for that matter) isn't going anywhere, so the developer might as well offer it. They'll make some money off of it, while the buyers also get the advantage with dealing with Bliz...

No Haggar? Well that's disappointing.

I would guess they have a contractual obligation towards the publisher. Or, the publisher might force them to pay up if they want to sell said publisher's future titles.

Might as well just rent the game for a weekend then, it's still cheaper and should be enough time to beat the game.

To me the length of a game matters for single player only games, as I don't feel every game is worth 60-70$CAD. If I can finish a game within less than about 10 hours (not talking about speed running it, nor using any guide or walkthrough), I'd rather rent it than buy it.

Of course, the quality of the game is also important to me, but I don't feel like one is mutually exclusive to the other. Games, even SP only ones, can have both quantity and quality.

Here's the thing, if it were only about Peter making promises and failing to achieve them, I would completely agree, he doesn't deserve to be treated so harshly by the community.

But with games like Godus, Molyneux has gone and promised a lot of stuff, has taken our money, and then, when he got bored with the project, he bailed on it and started working on something else.

It's one thing to fail to meet your own hype due to your own incompetence, ...

DLC aside, the core gameplay is actually quite fun and does promote team work, something many games have failed at in the past. It's also a relatively bug-free game (well, compared to other AAA games like AC:Unity for example) and the launch was great, with little to no network issues. It also looks very nice, and it still packs enough content to make it worth playing for quite a few hours.

It's not a perfect game, and yes, it's heavy on DLC, but that doesn't ...

The gameplay is very nice. I've played maybe 6-7 hours so far, and it feels quite balanced; I never felt like either side was unbeatable.

It's a bit low on content, and I feel that in a few weeks a good chunk of the player base will have moved on, but hopefully those with the hunting pass will come back once the content starts rolling out.

But if you're not going to play online, there are much better games deserving of your time. Not only is Evol...

While I think Evolve is a tad too light on content, the way they are handling DLC is much better than many other games. While putting so many hunters and monsters behind a paywall sucks, at least all the maps are free and future maps will also be free, which at least avoids the issues seen in games like CoD and BF where some people get kicked out of servers because they don't have a particular DLC pack.

I'm not defending the amount of content that has to be purchased ...

But, remastering Resident Evil 2 to 3 would be either very expensive for Capcom, or would result in one of the less satisfying remaster we have yet to see.

The reason remastering Resident Evil made sense was all thanks to the Gamecube REmake, which gave the developers of the remastered edition newer assets and, an overall better more modern take on the original. RE2 to 3 didn't have such a remake, which means their either build them back from the ground up, which is basic...

Seems like this could be a bit like Heavenly Sword; great gameplay, great graphics (for the time of release), but a somewhat short campaign and no co-op/MP.

We'll have to wait and see for the release, but I'm unsure if it will be worth the 60$ asking price for the average consumer. With that being said, the game looks very fun and hopefully it gives the player some incentives to replay the game multiple times.

I loved my PSP (and still do today), probably my favorite system after the PC. It had a very nice variety of games, from smaller portable-focused games like Lumines, Locoroco and Patapon, to bigger budget titles like Syphon Filter, Crisis Core and Type-0 (thank God for that fan made English patch).

While I think Uncharted 2 was fantastic, the first one was a bit lackluster, in my opinion anyway. On the other hand I feel Gears of War got almost everything right the first time. Another point would be that Gears came out quite a bit before the first Uncharted game, and to me, was the first game I played that made me feel this was a true "next-gen" (at the time) game. For its time, it was beautiful, fresh, the game play was tight, the atmosphere was different from most games I was...

I'm happy we're seeing some negative previews nowadays (not necessarily about Dying Light, can be about any game). I remember a time when all we got were overly positive previews, and yet the games would be panned by critics the minute it launched. It sent contradicting messages, and you could see some of the bigger gaming sites were just hyping up games they knew were going to be bad, just to make a buck.

I'm not saying previews should be gloomy and overly negati...

Well, for those interested in playing this game on the go, the PSP version has received an unofficial English patch last summer, and it's well done.

As for the HD edition, I might pick it up on PS4, but a lack of Vita version is quite disappointing.

You act like Japan is the only place where the 3DS is beating the Vita in sales, when in fact Japan is pretty much the only major territory where the Vita is actually putting up a fight, and where the Vita has sold the most units.

Perhaps, rather than blaming the Japanese people, you should take take a look at Sony's strategy with the Vita. You would think that with the powerful hardware, combined with the Playstation branding, they would have a very successful successor ...

Just like I think it's dumb when articles pop up about how much a game sucks months before we can actually play it, the same applies when they pop up about hyping up a game we know so little about.

From what I've seen of this game, it looks interesting, but until we see more of what we can actually do in the game, I wouldn't say it will rewrite history or anything of this magnitude.
