A few months ago I conducted a similar experiment . I posted a series of 10 video clips online. Half of of the clips were native 1080p and the other half were native 720p up-scaled to 1080p. The clips were uploaded to a cloud service which allowed for downloading of the uncompressed video files.
I asked the participants to identify the clips based on their native resolution.
Not one person guessed correctly. The most accurate response came from an individual ...
"cus the likes of game share are small updates...you don't maybe the PS4 doesn't"
Uh, what????
@ ninjahunter
"You literally cannot own a copy of windows 8 without having a Microsoft-based account"
Wrong again. Stop it man, you're just embarrassing yourself now.
"yet windows insists that its mandatory."
What are you talking about? You have no idea, do you?
@angelusbrz
You may want to recheck your math.
@ RocketScienceLvlStuf
"all the xbox fanboys kicking up a real fuss"
A mature individual would posses the ability to restrain himself from making such a sophomoric comment.
@ IGiveHugs
"i'm not a delusional fanboy"
That is the funniest thing I've heard all day. You are the epitome of a delusional fanboy. The fact that you are incognizant of your own idiosyncrasies is both ironic and hilarious.
Thanks for the laugh.
Yeah, but is it 60fps?

I checked the first 4 items on this list... not one of them is accurate. The XBOX Live Gold subscription is $20 more than advertised on GamerDeals.
Is GamerDeals an unreliable source or am I missing something?
@ Alsybub
There was a brief period during which I was obsessed with the image quality of my displays. I took classes on calibration and purchased my own tools (colorimeter and software) in order to dial in the perfect image.
The majority of TVs that I encounter are set up incorrectly. "Hey, turn up the saturation, sharpness and contrast to 100. That looks great!". So, it's no surprise that most people are ignorant in regard to proper RGB setting...
You guys are disagreeing with science now?

@The Cell and Pork chop
If you set the RGB range to full the result will be crushed blacks and loss of detail in the shadow areas. The blacks may appear darker but at a significant cost.
TVs use a video range from 16-235. They are not designed to display the full spectrum of 0-255. The Full setting is designated for PCs and the Limited setting is for TVs.
If you think that setting RGB range to full makes the PS4 version look better then you...
"I dont think anybody is saying DX12 wont do anything for xbone."
You have to be joking. There are plenty of people saying that very thing in this comment section.
@snoopgg
"They did it first so its OK for IGiveHugs to do it too".
That's your rationalization?
Very mature...
Sad news.
I was just listening to some early Tangerine Dream tracks this morning. Weird...
R.I.P.
I really like the idea behind Quantic Dream games. It's the execution that I find lacking. One of the primary reasons for my purchase of the PS3 was Heavy Rain. I did enjoy it to some extant but I feel that Indigo Prophecy is actually a better game.
I'm looking forward to checking out the HD version. It may be worthy of a revisit.
I understand the reasoning behind Microsoft's decision to have a console presence in Japan. But at some time they should really consider pulling out. The meager sales figures are not worth the expense and may actually be hurting their reputation.
@IGiveHugs
You received responses to your comment because it unnecessarily opened up a debate between the PS4 and the XBOX One. It appears that you do this quite often. You're objective is to draw attention to yourself by posting inflammatory and unrelated statements. Perhaps it is insecurity or alienation that drives you to behave in this manner.
I will admit that you were successful. So, congratulations on being an agitating narcissists. I'm sure t...
@IGiveHugs
What is your point, exactly?
@Cindy-rella
It's past your bed time.
