erm.......I own Kinect sports and really like it.
The KS2 demo was great so it's definitely my type of game.
Sports Champions looks alright, especially the archery, but owning a Wii has pretty much put me off Move.
Nothing major - just the minor annoyances.
Draco is probably my most wanted.
Haunt looks like Luigi's Mansion, which is a good thing.
That said Kinect Sports 2 is enough to keep me happy for now.
I think I know what the problem is.
Remember a few months ago, when all those 'X360 is dead in Japan' articles were around???
Those articles stated that Japanese stores were cutting back on their X360 stock - but would still sell the product via online.
That's the problem.
Most sales tracking systems don't include online sales , and as more Japanese stores only stock X360 products for online sale that'd explain why...
How about MK vs Killer Instinct?
I think that could work.
You're right in saying not every skill used in Kinect games is transferable to real life.
But that doesn't mean they're all without benefit.
Regular games can improve upon your problem solving, hand/eye co-ordination skills and reflexes.
The more you play, the more you'd improve those skills.
Kinect does the same - although it's you whole body's co-ordination that's put under test.
You are limited ...
.... this vid makes me regret selling my Wii.
Then again I heard the Wii U is backwards compatible, hopefully I'll get to play this game at some point.
Looks great!
That's pretty amazing.
I'd add Bioshock Infinite, Asura's Wrath and the new Tomb Raider to the above lists.
2012 has a lot of great games to look forward to already.
@Bushlitter
Sorry , that should be the end of May 2010 to the end of May 2011.
There's one section called 'one to watch' which has games released after that , but everything else should be between those dates.
According to GamesRadar - the awards cover games released between the end of May 10 to the end of May 11.
Maybe they do this because of the 'game release rush' before Christmas - this way it gives people plenty of time to play all the major titles before voting.
It's strange I know , but UC3, Batman and all the games out this holiday season will be in next Years Golden Joystick awards.
I think the cut-off point is the end of Summer.
That looks great!
...(Wonders if people actually read the articles before commenting anymore....?)
The point he makes is interesting - basically with some Kinect games - you yourself actually learn skills from them just by playing ( like dancing, fitness, sports games.)
He's saying if he spent every hour of his 'gaming life' playing games which improve his physical abilities , (instead of games in which you sit on your backside with a joypad) - he'd be a lot be...
....unless you like casual games , different people like different things.
Games like Gears 3 and UC 3 are excellent , but I doubt I'd see my parents, sister or nephew and niece playing them any time soon.
I'd say the beserker from Gears 1 .....

I was playing this last night , it's great, both classic and modern Sonic are fun to play.
Note , to do combos as modern Sonic - you need to keep rotating the left thumb stick after a 'big' jump.
And you can still do mid-air boosts, ground stomps and drifts like in Unleashed.
This game's def a day 1 buy for me!
What the hell.....
Who cares if it gets 94,95 or 96 ? It's a fantastic score either way.
I just wish there was some kind of rating system for the games journalists themselves.......
That way we won't have to put up with the current trend of time wasting/ flame baiting articles.
Wow , that really is a great review!
Maybe someone should investigate the effects of reading The Sun newspaper on the brains of the public.
That'd be good for a laugh.
Yeaaaaahhhh!
DoDonPachi is out this November , and Akai Katana is out early next year.
Thanks RSG!
