The first time I played the demo I was surprised at the amount of QTE's , but after I took some time to learn the controls + mess around with them I was really impressed.
The sheer spectacle of the set pieces , the animation is brilliant, and the story + setting seem really interesting.
My only worry was that the game might be all the same , so it's good to hear it has a lot of variety.
I can understand why some people hate QTE's ...
That's a good list , Cortana , Cole, Captain Smiley and Kaim are my favs .
Other characters:
Blinx
Alicia (from Bullet Witch)
Conker + Sloprano + Birdie(Conker: Live and Reloaded)
Raikoh + The Crimson King ( from Otogi)
Inphy or Galen (Ninty nine nights/N3)
Grunty + Piddles (Banjo Kazooie)
Baron Von Ghoul or those farting zombies (Grabbed by the Ghoulies)
Dizzy (Gears of War)
Ailish (Sudeki)...
I remember Ubisoft mentioned on stage at E3 that all future Tom Clancy games will have the 'gunsmith' kinect feature .

HD graphics are nice , but game play should always be more important.
My top 5 would be:
1)Dance Central 2
2)Gun Stringer
3)Kinect Sports 1
4)Fruit Ninja
5)Haunt
Looks great !
Looks impressive!
If I remember correctly , Billy was in a special army unit operating in Africa .
They were on a mission which involved attacking a terrorist settlement - but Billy finds out that the village is full of innocent people and doesn't want to do it.
So his commanding officer goes ahead with the mission - but pins all the blame on Billy - saying he went crazy + has him arrested.
Claire is overdue a comeback - she hasn't been a main character in a game for a while.
I'd like to see more of the other characters also - Barry , Rebecca , Billy , Carlos , Hunk etc...
Me too , Ragnar Tornquist says TLJ 3 will happen - after he finishes his work on The Secret World.
He said on his website that we should have some solid info on the new game this year.

...... my PC has one .
PC's don't have a fixed architecture - you can pretty much build them however you want.
Blu ray has been available for PC's for a while , see:-

Maybe , but there's the chance Capcom might have learnt it's lesson after the backlash over SF4 + MVC3 special editions.
If Ono say's there'll be no special edition , and then goes back on his word he risks losing a lot of fans.
It's nice to see more game developers being set up in different regions of the world - I'm hoping they bring they more unique games + creativity to the industry.
Wait , didn't Ono just say there's only going to be dlc - as in no special editions ..... why are people complaining?
No they don't - simply because Films can be regarded as art + Grind House movies don't undermine that.
Besides Grind House is fun , I'd rather games are thought of as 'fun' rather then as 'art'.
There is one part of the gameplay trailer were Leon sticks an axe in a zombies head - maybe there are melee weapons also.
I'd agree on the new mythology.
I remember Jaffe said he originally planned for Kratos to move onto other mythologies , where
as Balrog wanted him to turn into a grim reaper type character.

Either way , if you remember how GoW3 ended , but also remember who's ...
I liked the demo , it had a certain charm to it , like Luigi's Mansion.
And for a free-roamer on Kinect the controls work great!
QTE's , if done right + in moderation can be a good thing.
But it worries me a lot of games are becoming increasingly scripted /on-rails /and use QTE's far too often.
Gameplay and player interaction is what sets games apart from other media , if you remove that you're basically just watching a movie.
The scripted moments of such games do look spectacular - but they never change, you have no control over them - they get boring qui...
That's surprising....
Still I have to admit, MS didn't publish as much last year, but I did enjoy a lot of what they did.
Metacritic should never be taken as a standard , + people shouldn't obsess over percentages.
Who cares what others say , just play what you enjoy.
