I sure hope it's HOTD Overkill 2 - that game was awesome.
I'm about half way through and I think this game is fantastic .
As a long term fan of the series I think NT did a great job!
Tbh, I enjoyed Res 6 .
I don't think I'm the only one who did either.
(Current Xbox live rating 4.5 / 5.0 with over 49,000 votes!)
But it is flawed, and I totally understand why many don't like it, as the series does seem to be moving further away from it's roots.
I have no respect for flame baiting sensationalist sites like Kotaku, and it's good when devs make an example of them.
Kamiya, he's a good game designer, but I can't say I have much respect for him as a person. It's not just this incident - going off most of his comments and interviews I've read over the past few years, he really seems like a bit of a jerk.
Still, he makes good games....
Great article !
For Q1 : I'm getting Aliens, Ninja Gaiden, Rayman & The Cave.
That lot should keep me busy until Pikmin 3 .
I'd like to see Lego TMNT and James Bond games.
Only two weeks left - looking forward to it!
Looks good.
Apparently it's 1/8th the size of the original and they're calling it .... ' mini-wii ' * strikes a Dr Evil pose *
Well said + bubbles.
Ha , that microwave one is awesome - I didn't know you could do that.
I know - the point of my above post was to show that Resident Evil 6's launch sales are significantly higher then any of the previous titles managed to sell in over ten weeks for that region.
To put this in perspective - in Japan -
Resident evil 6 (PS3) sold 634,933 at launch ,
Resident Evil 5 (PS3) sold 464,219 total after TEN WEEKS.
Resident Evil 4 (PS2) sold 429,813 total after ten weeks.
(GC)sold 208,840 total after ten weeks
(source Vgchartz)
That's a huge difference.
I've finished Leon,Chris and Jake's campaigns with just Ada's left.
It's a great game! I'm glad I didn't listen to the haters.
Agreed, I'm about half way through the story mode ( I've finished Leon and Chris) and I think it's a great game.
The new Res Evil movie (Damnation) is really good also.
Shipped = sold to retail.
(As in retailers pay Capcom for the game.)
Sales to consumer (gamers pay retail) gives a better idea of how popular a game is, a popular game leads to further sales etc.
It's easy to say "shipped, not sold", and pretend that it doesn't matter - but it does. That 4.5 million sales stands as profits made
by Capcom.
I am so looking forward to this game - it looks great!!!
I'm glad it's selling well , it's a great game.
If they can get rid of region locking, dlc and online passes I'll be happy.
I doubt they will though.
