That looks great!
I have the 4 player demo.
The cinematic attack sequences don't feel out of place.
You only 'need' them for certain stage interactions - (like when the car goes over the wreckage) but you don't need them to knock players off the edge of the stage - strong attacks will work also.
The cinematic attack also gives you a few seconds to 'aim' the direction in which you send the opponent .
Personally , I reall...
That's my point , NG3 has significant differences to the older games - so I can see why people are upset , however , being different doesn't necessarily make it a 'bad game'.
Some of the reviews seem really spiteful or misinformed - like this Eurogamer review - they claim there are no upgrades during the story mode - but that just isn't true.
They also made a big issue out of the illusion of choice, he says there's no choice but to kil...
Thanks, lol !
Here's a bubble for you!
I've almost finished my 2nd playthrough.
Ninja Gaiden 3
THE BAD:
-Only one type of weapon + Ninpo, (so far.)
-No collectibles or items (no exploration)
-There's a slight delay when linking attacks (e.g a combo to a flying swan dive- which initially feels odd, but once you get used to the timing it's fine.)
-Enemies aren't strategically placed, the game is challenging but you&...
I finished it last night, and I have to admit .....I enjoyed it!
I'd say the beggers from Assassins Creed 1 were by far the most annoying characters I've ever seen in a game.
Not only do they chase you down,+ whine constantly, but if they get infront of you they can completely block your path.
Having that happen to you mid-mission irritated the hell out of me.
I'd disagree with Nate being on the list also.
I got the collectors edition yesterday.
I'm only about half way through the game - but yeah , pretty much everything that was great about the older NG feels missing.
If you're looking for more of the same you will be disappointed.
That said some of the new features are pretty good , as are some of the set-pieces . But it does feel like a completely different game.
On the whole, it's definitely not as good as the older NG g...
It looks ace, I'm looking forward to playing this!
That looks great!
I pre-ordered mine through Amazon a while back, I'll have to wait until Fri/Saturday for it to arrive (EU).
I'm really looking forward to it , and the game , and the DOA 5 beta!
I disagree.
NG Black is the best as it was pretty much perfect - balance, controls - the lot.
The thing is , NG games are structured, there's a reason why every enemy + every arena is set out as it is.
That purpose is to challenge you, make you think about what you're doing , and to make you use your skills in different ways to overcome these problems.
Which is one of the issues I have with Sigma - instead of keeping...
Game mechanics provide the means by which we interact with a game. It's this interaction which sets games apart from things like movies .
I think David Cage is talented, and I really like that he's trying to bring a more mature mentality to gaming - but mechanics aren't something to be neglected.
Good article , I never realised analytics were used to such an extent.
Tbh I really like the guy , he's a really talented designer.
Hopefully this new company will give him the creative freedom he never had at MS.
That looks amazing!!!
I thought Heavy Rain was impressive , but this is a whole leap forward. I'm looking forward to QD's new game - I hope they keep this futuristic setting!
You can hold anything , even a real club ( if you have the space) and it'll work fine.
Plus you get the voice recognition, which looks decent.
It says all that in the article....
Wow, awesome!!!
Cool , I'd like to see a few for autovista mode also!
That looks awesome!
If you pre-ordered the NG3 Special edition - you get access to the DOA 5 4-character demo. Can't wait!
Ah , that's a shame.
I was hoping that the secret ending was hinting at a sequel.
Still , I'm looking forward to what happens next.
