Ubisoft have already said they are addressing the padded side stuff and that this game will be “smaller” than odyssey in that regards
I’m pretty sure when they spoke about it being smaller they were referring to things like less filler side quests and stuff, less padding
Windows central are pretty notorious for being very anti Sony of late so not the best reference choice. But reading the article, outside of the Xbox exclusive studios none of the developers in that article say they are excited about anything that is specific to Xbox. There’s some discussion about ray tracing which both consoles will do and another one discussing about how the most exciting thing for them is adding an SSD to the machine. As far as the latter, it’s pretty clear that Sony has th...
@gamersday08 but how big does a game have to be before DLC exempt from the thought that it should have been in the main game? Assassins Creed games of late have had more content than most games on the market for the same price as most other AAA releases. Game devs are just in a lose lose situation with gamers nowadays, it is so hard for any studio to be in favour with the internet.
They sell a version of the game with the season pass. Would you prefer they advertised the product as unknown content or surprise dlc? Honestly
The DLC is not made and ready to go, so it’s not like they cut it from the main game. The game is going to be huge without the DLC so I dunno what the big issue is. Games take years to make so they need to have any dlc plans in production early enough that it will come out close enough to release that everyone hasn’t moved on to the next big game. A lot of gamers have short attention spans, if DLC isn’t ready when I’m done with a game I usually never go back. To much effort to relearn everyth...
I think maybe change the title of the article. “Not the remake WE wanted” implies that everyone unanimously didn’t want this, which is false. Speak for yourself if it’s an opinion piece
@lakebums ORI is fantastic, but I hardly think it “embarrasses most Sony exclusives”. Also Inside is not an Xbox exclusive
Why is this being reported? It literally could be anything and there is no real indication that it’s last of us 2 related at all. He’s an actor, he has other work he does, he has podcasts and all sorts of things he does.
They gave it an 8. The reviewer thought the game was great. Do you not understand criticism or do you think every game that someone likes should be 10
If it’s just additional to the other multiplayer modes what’s the issue?
How is it any different than PC games scaling for higher or lower specs though honestly?
So Halo infinite could have the best campaign in Halo history, but because of one mode... you wouldn’t buy it?
You allowed to like whatever you like, but you can’t deny that Halo has past its peak and doesn’t have as many fans anymore
I think a lot of gamers dislike anything that becomes mainstream because the game gets popular with people who aren’t “real gamers”
Hard for me to justify paying $90AUD for borderlands when I can buy them for next to nothing on PS4 or Xbox one. I think they are on gamepass at the moment too
Or devs have other priorities. Some games are fine at 30fps. I think most games could have been 60fps this gen if they didn’t want to push the graphics as much
It really didn’t. It all comes down to the developers choices.
@343_Guilty_Spark I’m not GPU expert but isn’t the RX 5700 using RDNA1? Given that the PS4 GPU is RDNA2 tech which is like twice as powerful isn’t your whole argument false?
Also WCCFTech benchmarked the RX 5700 at running doom eternal on 4K at an average of 66FPS. And that card is half as powerful as the PS4 GPU?
Isn’t this pretty much the case with every console generation? Does this really need headlines...
