I dont know about this theory. The first thing I do with any game on my PC is crank the settings to max. I mean, sure the game is playable, but I think its human nature to want more and push the limits.

Um, I think of it as a portable gaming device akin to the PSP or 3DS. Im not going to play these games on a Cell phone. The Shield is a Portable console, not a damn phone. To me, there is my phone, which I use for phone things, and my Shield, which I game with.
Im not sure where the correlation between the Xbox One owner and the PS3. I would imagine if you dropped $500 on the X1, you really arent looking for a backlog of games on an older system.
Emotions are so high even the Ref just faked an injury in dramatic fashion.
Steam is doing fine. They still have a Massive selection of AAA titles. It's quite easy to sift through the games to find something you like. All the games have comments attached so it's not like you are going in blind on your purchase. My Pc crew uses Steam for the big games anyways. We have a few indie gems, but that certainly isn't what draws gamers to Steam.
That may be, but see, this is an Xbox One article. Maybe find, oh I dunno, a Playstation article to voice such a powerful opinion .
Hey dude, check out the NVidia Shield. I picked mine up for $200 and its the best device ever. When you play Half Life 2, GTA, Final Fantasy, Dead Trigger 2 with full controls and a wicked touch screen, well it really makes these games playable. I talk about the Shield a lot, but buddy, it plays so many emulators, Google Games, and it will stream my PC games from my Nvidia GPU flawlessly.
The Shield single handedly turned my view on "cell phone games"
Wtf kind of dynamite goes "damn"? Where exactly are you from Sasuke?
Grab yourself an Nvidia Shield bro. Best $200 bucks I ever spent. I play half life 2, gta, dead trigger, plus all my emulators and I can stream Pc games directly to it. Check it out. I can't say enough good things about it.
I dunno....will they really hit 1080p though? Launch is right around the corner. You would think Beta would be 1080 since it is so close to launch, no?
Pm me what you want to spend and any specs if you have some in mind. I'd be glad to give you some ideas.
Im definitely holding out hope for sure. I know the install base for last gen is huge, but Im selfishly looking for Devs to work with current-gen and Pc instead of a dumbed down version for the last gen.
If this makes its way to Android I will definitely give it a try on my Shield. I really liked Civ Rev 1 and would welcome a portable version.
@JB
Thats why I said "or Dual Boot" so you're covered either way.
@Wynams
So just go with SteamOS and ditch Windows altogether or dual boot. Valve has this locked up bud. Now is the time.
Dont forget the Family Sharing and In-Home streaming on Steam! Share your games and play them on any Pc in the house, regardless of specs (As long as you have at least One decent rig as the source)
Come to PC, baby. We'll treat you right.
Im kind of sad they support last gen consoles and yet dont have a PC version of destiny.
Kinect "was" a great ambition all right. Development and support will pretty much screech to a halt now.
I hope MS takes a page from the Steam App. You can purchase and download games right to your PC and have them ready by the time you get home. You can also chat your friends on the Steam App. This is so handy and I would love being able to remotely download my new purchases for consoles.
