They are outdone by most PCs now chief. The graphics PS4 can put out for $400 is quite something though. Once I got a Gtx670 in my PC all resolution talk was null and void from the console wars.
Im just sad that developers really step to the Xbox and PS4 schedule. All these "next gen' games should really just be the norm for PC. But PC games dont seem to be developed by AAA Blockbuster developers anymore. We get waaaayy to many Console ports as it is.
Déus Ex and Mario 3d had great graphics. Mario 3d is bright and detailed and alive. For being the weaker console, Nintendo still knows how to use the hardware.

This game looks like Dead Island with Parkour thrown in. I will withhold my enthusiasm for a bit yet.

On one hand I'm glad the bioshock franchise isn't done, but on the other I'm sad that it will be a different group working on it. Hopefully Irrational can get their narrative driven ip out there soon. All the best to them in the future.

So true. If you really want to rise above the console wars, get a pc. It immediately renders all 1080/60 debates moot. You automatically get the best version of the game.
That's pretty much the reason why I'm staying away. Plus my skyrim mods keep the game fresh, so I'm content to sit this one out.

Wowsers, that clip was really something. There was quite a bit of emotions that were very apparent, but subtle. Nice to see the lifeless eyes of last gen may be behind us.
Now now, consoles have their charms too. I play WiiU with the wife and my 3ds in bed. I also rock the 360, x1, and ps4. Consoles are still entertaining for exclusives.
How's about you just update that right onto pc? :)
Looks like PC really nailed the lighting effects off of guns and machinery. The X1 looks a bit darker and maybe a bit 'foggier' in some of the draw distances. Pictures only tell a bit of the story. Love to see it in action.
High praise to be held above Mario 3D as the best side scroller on Wii U. Ill have to see for myself this weekend.
