Castlevania can rock the 3ds anytime. They had quite a few good side scrollers on DS as well.
If you have ever played Path of Exile, that is the best way of microtransactions ever. PoE is a great game. Its what Diablo 3 should have been and it is completely free. All the items for purchase are cosmetic and the store isnt intrusive at all. In fact, I had to actually look in the menu to find where the microtransactions are housed.
But for the most part, yes. F2P is garbage.

Its almost in between a Gimmick and the Future. On one hand its a great idea. On the other its a SCUBA mask you have to strap to your face. Im all for immersion, but I was hoping it would be a bit more ergonomic.
I do think the Rift has a future though. Whether its this one or Rift 2.0

They can always go to humanity joining the council for the first time. Maybe the beginning of the genophage. They don't even have to stick with humans In this one. Now that "next gen" is here, that leaves more room for exploration and improvements.
There is lots of story still to be told. I'm a huge fan and I would gladly pick up a new Mass Effect.

I've never played thief before. I am a victim of nostalgia, but it's mostly for Nintendo. I was initially very excited for this game, but I am hearing more and more it may be a stinker. Too bad.
Maybe they should have focused on PC again instead of catering to the console crowd.

Pc games are all digital. And steam gives you collectibles, cards, and achievements. You have friends and a social community as well. You can download your steam games to any pc and play them as many times as you want.
An all digital future isn't so scary.
This game has been out on Steam for 8 or 9 months. Im sure it wont take too long to port it over.

I think you can expect a stinker without High Moon. They did the Cybertron prequel perfectly and had a Dinobot involved. Whats stopping this game from just being another crappy Micheal Bay movie tie-in?
They should do straight up Gen 1 transformers. Back to the roots.

I just think its crazy a game can win any award without actually being playable. Unless you count "best in show" "most anticipated" aaand, thats really all I could think of. 2 categories. Im not saying Witcher isnt worthy of the praise, Im just surprised so many awards can be given out so soon.
