No guns? This will probably sell around a thousand or so. We all know Xbox fans play shooters.
Guys, they REALLY did intend this to mean FAMILY -- as in people living in a single home.
The "one person can access the shared library at a time" pretty much assures that.
Steam's FAQ on family sharing
"Can a friend and I share a library and both play at the same time?
No, a shared library may only be accessed by one user at a time." In other words: It's one person at a time for the entire shared library.
the person who owns the games can override whoever the sharing person is....Doesn't sound like it'll have a large effect on game sales. If you want to play right away, just buy your own copy. ...
No its not lol.
You can't access your friends library at the same time they're using this. That essentially take co-op out of the picture. We use to be able to share our digital games with 5 other accounts, then it was lowerd to 2. I'm 99% percent sure there is no way EA or Ubisoft would be happy with allowing 9 other people to download their games for free...let's use our brain here lol
Why the heck did you get disagrees? It's true, this is being done on ps3 & 360 already, for sharing digital content. Third parties made Sony reduced the number of shared accounts to 2.
NO there are fundamental differences to what Xbox could have offered. With valve, you can't log into your friends library at the same time they are using it. That pretty much takes co op out of the picture. There is no way that third parties would allowed MS to share 10 games around when they made Sony reduce the number of shared accounts to 2.
Hey Kojima,
You shouldn't have to don't explain yourself, Nuff said.
I'm not holding against them anymore. I moved on, but it did hurt my perception of the xbox brand and I probably won't buy another one of their consoles. Was microsoft paying attention to the build up before the may 21st console reveal? The adam orth situation? The always online rumors? Were they looking at the forums? Where was their research that they did for the past 8 years of the 360's lifespan? I think MS was trying to be too ambitious, we're only living in 2013 not 2030...
thetruthMVP. He's a great guy, and loves playstation to death !
LMFAOO
What? LOL
If I didn't care about my opinion, I would have never posted. It's yours, that I do not care about. Thanks for the laugh.
I think Sony is watching to see what happens with Beyond Two Souls. Heavy Rain sold pretty well for a New IP and if this game does well than I see great things ahead for Quantic dream. They did say that they're happy making games for Sony, and I think the reason is that they realize there is a definite market for their kind of games in the PlayStation nation.
If Beyond Two Souls gets solid scores, and good amount of sales, I think a buyout is in order.
Nah. It was the lack of guns, explosions, and too much emotion driven narratives that drove them away. lol
That's cool. What if I don't care?
I'm not surprised at some of the reactions. Killzone seems to be your favorite shooter to hate. The series has always done things different then the competition, in terms of mechanics. Making a game that was slower paced, and heavier than the most popular twitch shooters was almost unheard of. If you put crysis and cod next to each other, the only thing that would seperate them is the graphics. Same twitch style, similar gameplay features, etc. If you don't like killzone, move on with...
Eh.......LOL
I'm confused, how can a game kill COD if its a console exclusive?
Activision's last claim to COD dominance is that they make over a billion a year from it. Sure, titanfall could kill COD in the quality aspect, but in terms of player base and sales I'm afraid cod will still claim the top spot. The only way to truly stomp on it for good, is to outsell it. Then everyone truly sees that the series is done.
Playstation plus does not handle online gaming, xbox live does. The profit goes straight into the online infrastructure. PlayStation plus is a different service.
Now it handles it, but this gen it did not.
LOL everytime I see that claim, I chuckle. We have no idea how many physical servers those are. You guys ate that claim right up for bragging rights. Now, notice how Microsoft has shied away from explaining this.
External peripherals won't push gaming forward. I'm glad Sony sees that. Everything that has revolutionized gaming has happened IN the game itself. Remember the jump from standard definition to HD. Then the inclusion to sophisticated AI systems, whether simulations, etc. When you look back at the Wii, eye toy and other peripherals like that. They never truly changed the way we play games. They never replaced the traditional T.V and controller setup. Looking back, it seems that these t...
